Crescent Moon

Part 1

20 Years Later

New Orleans had blossomed under the Mikaelsons rule and after just five short years Henrik, Hope and Sidra were full grown and had stopped aging. Bonnie and Caroline went to college and after graduating Caroline started a design company which now had shops worldwide and she was constantly sought after to personally design homes and businesses. Bonne was a best selling author while Klaus and Kol were enjoying being annoying husbands. Since the adults were all off on their own adventures Hope had taken her father's place as Queen of New Orleans with Henrik as her second in command, Sidra was named Regent witch and Davina and Monique ran Rebekah and Katarina's bar "Blood Thirsty"; the five of them had become quite close. Hope was Klaus in every way imaginable and ruled with an iron fist, no one dared to challenge her for her position with Henrik and her army of hybrids at her disposal. It was time for Mardi Gras and New Orleans was preparing for the onslaught of tourist but the Mikaelson children were getting ready for a little reunion. For the first time in nearly a decade they would all be together again. "I want this place spotless or I'll tear your heads from your shoulders!"

"Calm down sister, it's only our parents" Henrik laughed. Like Caroline Hope was a control freak and wanted everything to be perfect, their parents hadn't been home in nearly 5 years due to their constant traveling and the others hadn't been home in nearly 10. "I'll be glad there will finally be other boys in the house because living with you three blows balls" Henrik rolled his eyes referring to Hope, Sidra and Davina who'd moved in with them along with Monique. "Don't you mean four?" Davina laughed. "I'm his girlfriend so I don't count" Monique laughed kissing Henrik's cheek before heading out with Davina to open the bar. "So is mom and dad gonna meet your pet boyfriend you've been hiding over 3 years?"

"Bite me Rik, I'm gonna ask mom to help him"

"Hope if Sid couldn't do it maybe you should just give it a rest"

"No! Our mother is the most powerful witch on the planet... if anyone could break his curse it's her" Hope sighed.

Elijah and Katarina arrived first with two young vamps that they had taken under their wing but was surprised that they could not enter the compound. "HOPE What the hell is this!?" Kat yelled when she flew to the entrance apologizing. "How could you do that? You aren't human?" Elijah asked after Hope invited them in. She told them of a boundary spell Sidra created for the compound to keep out unwanted supernaturals, even other witches. Sidra and Henrik flew into the room after hearing them come both as shocked as Hope at the sight of two caramel skinned boys who were clearly young vampires that Katarina introduced as Taj who was 23 and Micah who was 21. Taj and Micah were from brazil, Kat and Elijah had come across the boys finding that they were new vampires and alone; so they took them in to help them since they'd never had children. "Hope! Henrik what the hell!" they heard Rebekah yell and Henrik went to invite she and Stefan in; their daughters Emily and Sarah were human. They explained again how they were able to spell the house to prevent entry from supernaturals then went on to catch up while waiting on Klaus, Kol, Bonnie and Caroline to arrive from France where they currently lived. That night they all dressed up and headed to the bar. Taj and Micah fit right in with Henrik and the others, they took shots laughed and danced all night and Katarina took notice to Micah and Sidra's interactions. "Where are your parents?" Micah asked Sidra while they walked home from the bar. "They're probably at the house by now, they visit more often so they can go right in!" she yelled at her aunts and uncles who laughed her off. Back in the quarter Klaus, Caroline, Bonnie and Kol were waiting for them and welcomed Taj and Micah as the others did. Everyone was surprised to find that Henrik and Monique had gotten together and quickly began questioning Hope and Sidra about their love lives. Sidra quickly dismissed all questions "everyone is terrified of Sid... who wouldn't be afraid of the big bad Regent Witch" Davina giggled. Hope sat quietly trying to figure out the best way to approach her predicament but Henrik did it for her "Hope's in love with a wolf... literally" he laughed catching the one of the pencils she threw at him but missing the other that lodged itself in his shoulder making him hiss in pain. "A wolf? an actual animal" Klaus asked intrigued by the notion. "Of course not, he's a guy sometimes"

"Sometimes?" Kol cocked his head mentally preparing his insults. "I need you to help him mom? Sid already tried and couldn't break the spell... I even tried making him a hybrid so he didn't have to turn anymore but it didn't completely work. Will you please try?"

"The Crescent Wolf Spell? Is he human on full moons and a wolf rest of the month" Caroline whispered wide eyed. Hope told them they'd met on a full moon then she never saw him again until the next one. After three months he told her of his curse and that they had been suffering through it for three years. All that he knew was that he and his pack were cursed to live as wolves and stay out of the quarter. "He said he's never known why, that his mother said it happened years ago and that the only witch that could break it was dead. He is only a hybrid on full moons; you are the most powerful witch on the planet" The children noticed that the "adults" in the room were all silent and staring at Klaus and Caroline who'd turned pale. "How exactly did you meet him?" Elijah asked placing a restraining hand on Klaus' shoulder. "He was just out walking around staring like a tourist so I invited him to the bar. I could tell he was a wolf but he hadn't shifted on the full moon so I asked him about it and he ran... I lost him in the bayou somewhere. I sent some of the boys out to the bayou but they got nothing. The next time I had to keep him from getting ripped to pieces by some nightwalkers since there hasn't been any wolves in the quarter since the Guerreras... We finally talked but he didn't tell me about the curse until like six months later. He visits some nights in his wolf form, I shift too and we run; Sid made a spell so we can link minds and talk while in wolf form"

"What is his name Hope?" Klaus growled unable to hide his distaste while Caroline buried her face in her hands. "What's wrong?"

"The crescent boy what's his name!?!" Klaus shouted making everyone jump and tears welled up in Hope's eyes. "It's Tyler... Tyler Lockwood"
