Chapter 12

MADDIES POV:

I shook my head

"It's nothing" I said trying to hold back tears

"It's obviously something"

I stood up and wiped the rest of my tears away. I turned towards Jonathan and begged him to give Amanda back to me.

"Okay I'll give her back to you but I want you to know that the reason we took her was to get your attention." He said as he walked out the room.

I walked towards the doorway trying to follow Jonathan.

"So where is she"

"In the guest room"he said as he opened one of the extra doors.

I walked inside and saw Amanda laying in the bed asleep.

"AMANDA!!!" I said as I ran up to her hugging her.

Her eyes slowly opened as she heard my scream.

"Maddie?" She said confused

AMANDAS POV:

"Maddie?" I said confused

I looked up and saw Maddie hugging me tightly with tears in her eyes.I then looked up towards the doorway and saw Jonathan standing just outside the room.

"Maddie be quiet Jonathan's outside he's going to hear us"I whispered

"Oh no don't worry Jonathan let me in" she said with a smile

"But he kidnapped me?!"I said defensively

"I know we talked it out and he gave you back to me,to us"

Maddie helped me up off the bed and led me towards the doorway.

"Wait where's victor?"

She suddenly dropped my hand and looked down at the floor. The whole room fell into silence for a second until victor walked into the room.

"I'm right here"

"Oh I didn't see you there" I said quietly

I looked at Maddie and saw her take a few steps back from the door.

"Maddie what's wrong?"I asked

She shook her head and looked up at me and smiled.

"Nothing" she said making a way for me to pass

I stepped outside the door and walked towards the front door not realizing that Maddie had stayed behind. I reached to open the front door when Kian suddenly bursted in cause I g the both of us to fall.

"Kian?" I asked as I rubbed my head in pain

"Amanda!! I'm so glad your safe!!" He said as he helped me off the floor

"We where so worried about you especially Maddie and jc!" He said as he hugged me

"Wait jc was worried?" I asked suprised

"Yeah he was going crazy about the fact that you had been kidnapped he stayed behind trying to find clues while I ran after Maddie"

"Wait what?!" I asked confused

"Well Maddie jc and I were trying to find clues that could help us find you but Maddie suddenly ran off so I ran after her as jc stayed -"

"Wait where Maddie?!!" He asked worryingly

"Oh she right he-"

I turned around pointing at nothing

"Wait she was just with me she must have stayed behind"

Kian then ran up the stairs as fast as he could.

KIANS POV:

I ran up the stairs once Amanda had told me that she had stayed behind. Their house was huge it would take me a few minutes to find Maddie.

I ran through every hall opening and closing all the doors I could find.

"Where are you Maddie?"

I searched in every room and every bathroom the had.

"Maddie?"

"Maddie?"

"Maddie?"

No matter how many times i yelled I received no answer. But I wasn't ready to give up Maddie could be i. Danger and there's no way I'm heading back without her.

"Maddie?"

"Maddie?"

"Maddie?"

MADDIES POV:

"Maddie?"

I heard my name in the distance.

"Kian?" I whispered

I looked and saw that Jonathan and victor where looking around. It appears they heard it too.

"What was that?" Victor asked Jonathan

"I don't know I don't remember inviting anyone over" Jonathan replied

"Yeah me either"

"Don't worry I'll take care of it" Jonathan said as he walked away

"Wait don't -"

Before I could step out the door victor blocked the doorway leaving no possible way to leave.

"So you know the person who's here?"he asked

"Yes it's my friend Kian"

"Oh really?" Victor said as he walked towards me.

"Yes"

I didn't not move a muscle I knew that if I showed him I was scared he would attempt to do something like he did a few minutes ago. He circled around me for a while before coming to stop right in front of me.

"Can we talk?"

"Huh?" I said in surprise

"Can't we talk?"he repeated

"About what?" I asked confused

"About why your afraid of me"

"I'm not afraid of you its just that you do really stupid stuff sometimes and I'm not used to you doing those things"

"Then why did you try to push me off when I kissed you" he asked as he looked at me

The room fell into complete silence. I didn't know what to say.

"Because I wasn't expecting it." I whispered

He looked at me and smirked

"But you kissed me back so that must mean you like me" he said

I felt my face turn red and I looked away in embarrassment. I felt victor get up off the bed and he stood in front of me. He bent down just enough to so that we where seeing each other eye to eye.

"Your face is red" he said as he smiled

"N-no it's not!" I said embarrassed

He crouched down and picked up my chin. He just smiled at me. I've never seen this side of him usually he's a jerk and never really smiles.

All of a sudden I heard footsteps approaching is quickly and all of a sudden I saw Kian standing at the doorway trying to catch his breath.
