Mia's POV-
The alarm clock of my phone went off at exactly 7:00. I groaned into my pillow and shut it off. I rolled back over and tried going back to sleep until Andre, my guardian, was knocking on the door.
"Mia, It's time to get up!" The pounding got louder and I zoned it out by putting my head under my pillow blocking out the noise. I felt a hand pull my pillow off my head and look to see the lovely face of my totally favorite person ever, Andre.
"I thought you went away." I groaned trying to roll over but only to be rolled back over. "I love how you're miss sunshine in the morning." Andre replied sarcastically with a ghost smirk on his face. I sat up from my bed and squinted my eyes. "Oh, haha." I rolled my eyes at his response.
Today was the day that I'd be attending a new school, we just moved here in Beacon Hills from Louisiana and let's say I hated it. I hated the move, I hated leaving my friends and I hated that I realized that I have to meet new people, and let's just say I am not such a big fan of people to be honest, I can't stand them. I'm not a people person, sorry not sorry.
"Well come on let's get ready for your first day." Andre smiled.
I groaned and stuffed my face back into my pillow.

I hopped out of my Andre's truck and stared at my new school.
"You'll be fine, you'll make friends easily, you're a very... kind.. person.." Andre said out the window. "Oh haha, Andre. We all know I'm not kind." I smiled sarcastically and held up both thumbs up at him. Andre laughed as he drove away.
I fixed my messenger bag strap and started to make my way up to the school. And let me just say, the outside of the school was filled with different type of people. I started to eavesdrop on one conversation that caught my attention.
"This is seriously the best thing that happened to this town since.. since.. the birth of Lydia Martin." The lanky boy gawked the girl walking past and I could swear, anybody could spot his drooling from a mile away.
"Hey, Lydia. You look... like you're gonna ignore me.." He had this sad but yet angry look on his face which was hilarious to me.
"You're the cause of this, ya know." He faced the other boy.
The other boy tried to contain the smile on his face and nodded his head. I wouldn't blame him.
He started walking away and his friend caught up with him, "dragging me down to your nerd depths."
"Uh, huh."
"I'm a nerd by association." They both walked into the school. As I stood there, like an idiot. With no friends.

Please tell me I'm not lost, yup, I'm lost. Totally lost.
I'm looking for my first period class but I have no idea where it was at. I threw my hand up to my head and started to groan.
And to think of it, I lost my god damn schedule.
I went back outside, searching for my paper in the ground anywhere. "Come on!" I whined. "I need my schedule." I stomped and looked around more only to find it close to a girl that was sitting on a bench talking on the phone. The only people out there was just the two of us.
I walked over to grab the paper but only to find the girl smiling at me, handing me the paper. "This yours?" She asked shyly.
"Yeah, thanks." I gave her a small smile. I looked at my schedule to remember what was my first period, maybe the girl knows.
