The sky, covered in darkness, with cracks seeping through to let the lightning crackle down to New Arkstone, Thunder and rain were a constant here, as they say here in New Arkstone "No rest for the damned." Not in a bad way, from a certain point of view. They were a kind kingdom to their people, but as said the rain never gave them a moment.

New Arkstone is the capital of Arkstone, it is deep in the mountains, it was a citadel, the keep literally in the mountain. Not much of Arkstone had fertile land. The place was harsh, almost everywhere was a swamp of a mountain. This was very good defensive-wise but it limited them greatly. To even reach New Arkstone it takes a 24 hour march up the mountains. It was quite literally impenetrable, another man-made wonder.

The High Jarl, Denzuk was preparing for his hike down the mountains, of course it wouldn't take him as like as he knew the paths very well. Then he would have to rush to Torgothraton in order to arrive to the coronation in time. Denzuk was an old but strong and hardy man. Just like everyone else in Arkstone he was stubborn, and reluctant to leave his homeland, but this was a significant event. Considering even the breakaways of the Northern and Eastern kingdoms were sending delegates. Of course they couldn't bring their leaders as they would have to either cross orcish lands or make the long trip through the endless forests of Endassil.

A guard ran into the throne room, " My Lord, my lord, urgent news!" He panted
"He's not in throne room, what is it?" One of the Royal Guards asked inquisitively.
"The orcish clans have been united! Under presumably an orc!"
"Dire news, I will deliver the message to the High Jarl, wait here."
The Royal Guard bolted to a door near the throne, then dancing his feet down the stairs.
"My Lord, dire news the orcish clans have been united!"
" What is the manner of th- United?! The orcish clans?! I'll gut the pigs if they step into our land, send a message to every town and castle. We need the borders stationed, as long as the wall is up they can't get in and if they do break it down which they won't there will be an army!"
The wall of Arkstone stood 40 metres high all along the borders. It helped isolate them, which they liked of course and had staved off armies of two-hundred thousand.
"Would you like to send a delegate to Torgothraton?"
" I'm not gonna let a few ugly green idiots scare me, i'm leaving with the escort when the bell strikes next.
Dong, dong, dong.
"Whattdaya know, i'll be off, I have already briefed the council. Be with the stone."
"Be with the stone."
