"Lily! Over here take a look" I say as I watch her run towards me, her hair blowing in the breeze.
"What is it?" She asks as she stands beside me.
"Look" I point towards the beautiful blue sky. "It's a rainbow."
"How beautiful" she says as she faces towards me with a smile. "Don't ya reckon?"
"Yeah, I mean it's nothing special it's just a rainbow, I guess I just got excited because I haven't seen one in ages."
"Don't get all silly on me now Sam," she laughs while nudging me in the shoulder.
"I'm not" I laugh. "It's just you know, there hasn't been a beautiful sky like this for about six months, and I thought it was just nice to finally see one."
"Yeah I know what ya mean, how bout we go find that tree we carved out name into nine years ago, remember?" She insists as she lowers her voice.
"Yeah I remember."
