"And heres your change, maam. Please come again soon!"

I flashed him a small smile before heading to the exit.

When i opened the door, I was greeted with the cold breezy air which gave me the chills. Not being able to stand the chilly weather, I closed the door.

I stood there facing the transparent door in front of me noticing how the wind was strong enough make the trees shake a little.

Still standing there, I took a sip of my coffee while looking around. The cashier was on his phone smiling probably unaware i was still in here.
I had to leave soon though, I mean it
would be weird to stay here any longer since i already got my things.

Also no one was in here except for us. It's either they're at work or just at home. I mean really, it's too cold to be out here.

My house is only a few blocks away from this store. I didn't really think much before heading out from home just now, I just grabbed my jacket and left. And now, I'm gonna freeze on my way home.

Thinking that I've been in here long enough, I touched the door knob once more, twisting it as I heard the sound from the automatic doorbell go off with a 'ding-dong' sound.

I heard the cashier question why i was still in here and if i needed anything. he seemed worried because he got up from behind the counter to go to where i was.

I closed the store's door again for the third time since i went in here while stopping him from going to me. But he still came.

"Oh, no no. Its fine! Its just cold outside so yea..haha" I was unable to finish my sentence when we made eye contact, I got shy of course. So i just finished it off with a laugh hoping that he'll understand what i was trying to say.

"Oh, haha yea you're right its pretty cold outside. You can stay in here for a while if you want." he said with a cute smile. wow, he has nice teeth.

I looked out hesitating wether or not i should stay in here for a while. I saw that the trees shook a little stronger than before. I took a deep breath before asking "Are you sure? I dont want to bother you or anything..."

"No, no, of course not! I insist! It gets a little boring in here so i dont mind a little company." He said once again showing his perfect set of teeth.

"Here, let me help you out." he said as he took my bags and placing it on top of the counter.

"You can sit here, I'll turn the tv on real quick." he said as he placed a chair next to the counter motioning me to sit on it also handing me the tvs remote control.

"There it is, You can pick any channel that you like." he said as he sat back down.

"You shouldn't have turned on the tv for me but thank you so much, you're such a nice person wow you really shouldn't be doing all of these for me." I said laughing while searching for a good channel to watch.

"Oh, its no biggie. My dad told me i can only turn on the tv when my friends or guests are here. He said that i should be cleaning this place up when no ones around so that i'll get to rest when people come over so yea." he said looking at the tv "By people i dont mean customers, I mean guests. You know like you." there goes that cute smile again.

"Oh cool, does your dad own this place or something?"

"Yeah, he does. This place is like a family business thing."

I nodded at his answer. "Are you the only worker here?"

"Yea, i guess for the time being. This place just opened like less than 2 weeks ago and my parents wanted me to experience these type of things ya know?? because after all i am gonna take over this business when i get older."

"Ahhh okay okay." I said back to him

"You're not from here right? I mean not to be rude tho, I've just never seen you around this neighbourhood before."

"No its fine, yea we just moved in a few days ago. my dad has this sort of business here, so I guess we'll be living here for a while...or maybe a long while hmm i dont know."It's the truth though my dad said that we'll see in a few more days if we'll be living here or not. It has something to do with the business thing.

The next few minutes was filled with us talking about the series we were currently watching. Apparently, he has watched every episode of the first season.

As he was about to tell me what happened in the fifth episode. The doorbell rang and an old man walked in. He took some breads and brought it to the counter.

"My grandchildren loves these type of breads, It's hard to find. I'm glad this store opened. Now I don't have to drive further to get it." The man said to the cashier.

"My mom loves them so she told us to sell it here." He answered to the man.

"Thank you, sir. Please come again soon."

"And thank you to you too -
The man paused for a moment while looking at the boys outfit before continuing "You should wear a name tag boy, it'll look great on you!"

"Oh, wait its here" he pulled down his apron revealing his name tag.

Kim Mingyu it said on the tag.

"Ah, that's better." The man said with a laugh before leaving the store.

"Nice name you got there, Mingyu."

"I bet yours is even nicer, Do you mind me asking what it is?"

As if on queue, a honking noise was heard from outside.

"Looks like my sister's here, gotta go now."

"She knows you're here?"

"Yea, I texted her to come pick me up." I said as I took the last bag from the counter before heading to the door.

As I was about to leave, Mingyu called me.

"Hey, you haven't told me your name yet! That's not fair."

"You'll find out tomorrow!" I said back to him.

"What does that mean? Are you coming back tomorrow?"

"You'll find out tomorrow! Bye Mingyu!"

"Found a new friend?" My sister questioned as she looked up to me from her phone when i got into the car.

"Yea, I guess." I said smiling

"Alright, lets go home. Mom's baking a cake."
