Chapter Six"Gosh! Lena is still alive!" Ian exclaimed.
"Aye, the bitch still breathes" Cyn confirmed, both unconcerned of the said bitch a mere three feet away.
"Well it's not like it's not true" Lena defends her title of bitch.
"Alright it's time for business" Cyn said quieting the murmurs around the oaken table.
"I say we stake them all on spears from their rear through their throats like Vlad did those humans" Ullian, the leader of the Dwarves offers.
"I'm afraid we have another problem. Arin, my brother is in league with the Blood Takers" Cyn informed his cabinet of leaders.
"We don't stand a chance then" Lamont, the President of the humans, as he likes to call himself says, his voice could make a man want to throw himself upon his own sword if you listen to him for a long period of time.
"King Cyn! A scroll has arrived!" Banir bellows from across the room.
Cyn traced to the Troll King and took the parchment from his hands.
Cyn read through the missive and shook his head in disbelief. Gods these vampires are arses.
"What does it say!" Ullian snarls from his seat, a bit snotty of him. But before Cyn could put him in his place Ian had the poor thing dangling in the air, fangs bared and all "know your place, Dwarf" the king's consort snarled.
"oi! G-get off m-me you barbarian" Ullian whimpers. More snarls from King Ian had the man wetting himself.
"Pathetic" Ian mumbled satisfied that he scared the wits out of Ullian while Cyn hides a smirk.
Lena snickers wishing she could high five the Cobra Prince without a sure death sentence from touching his skin. She sent a snide look to Ullian and gave him a change of clothes that didn't smell of piss and fear. A yellow kilt and an equally yellow t shirt that was too tight for his protruding stomach. The Dwarf didn't mind though, at least he wasn't sitting in his own urine.
"It says that the Elves have sided with the Blood Takers" Cyn tossed the parchment on the table, disdain dripping from his words.
"ay yay aye" Lena exclaimed "those bloody toerags!"
Ian took his place beside his King once more and ignored the stares of the new comers. Only Lena knows him since she was training to become the head witch of her circle when the last war occurred two thousand years ago.
Ian couldn't wait for the meeting to be over with so that he could visit with a few comrades who have not passed on as yet and visit the graves of the many that have left the earth plane.
"I want the armies to be mixed, Trolls, Witches, Dwarves, Shifters. The humans are to be moved in the middle and a legion of soldiers per village" Cyn orders staring down the last five factions under his rule.
"Isaiah, mix your cats and wolves, even your birds into the legions evenly" Cyn directs to King Isaiah of the Shifter Clan.
"Lena, the witches that are good at elements put them where they'll be most effective and Ullian I want you to begin creating weapons for us. Guns, blades, everything you can come up with that'll do the most damage" Ullian nodded and stroked at his beard, little fangs shining from beneath his smile, it has been so long since his people have put their skills to work. So many inventions of mass destruction have been sitting in his armory unused.
The first constructive meeting was called to order soon after and each went off to do the Dragon King's biding.
