I took a sip of water before falling to the ground. I was playing basketball at the Y with a couple of my friends. Q took a seat next to me. He snatched my water bottle drinking the rest. I laid down trying to catch my breath. My phone started to ring. I looked down at the screen it was Jordyn. Q rolled his eyes.

"Man I told you to drop her crazy ass." He said.

"Don't call her that." I said picking up the phone.

"What's up." I said.

Nothing are you busy?" She said. She been ignoring me for a week. After the thing with Q she kinda shut down. I looked at the courts.

"No why?"

"Can you come over?" She said.

"Yea,give me 30 mins." I said. She said okay and hung up. I looked over at Q who was rolling his eyes. He got up and held his hand out. I took it and he pulled me up.

"Jordyn isn't someone you want to get mixed up with. I'm surprised she's messing with a kid." He said laughing.

"I'm not a kid." I said glaring at him. He held up his hands.

"My bad man relax." He said laughing. I picked up my shit and grabbed my car keys.

"I'll call you later about tonight. "I said walking away. I left the rec and went to my car. I threw my bag in. There was a text from Maria. I sighed and ignored it. She texted me yesterday too. I was over her. I had better things to do. Once I got home I showered and threw on some sweats and a simple tshirt. I stopped in front of the 2nd bedroom. I placed my ear on it. It was quiet. I touched the door. My phone started to ring scaring me. I grabbed it. It was Jordyn. I ignored it and made my way to her apartment. I knocked. There wa no answer so I called her back.

"I stepped out. I'll be right back. She said. I told her alright and hung up. I decided to go to the corner store.

I knocked on the door. He should've been home by now. I looked down at my watch. I bit my lip and made my way back to the street. That's when I saw him. I saw Quincy. He was making his way across the street. I was about to wave when a female grabbed his waist turning him around. He blocked my view from seeing her face. He bent down kissing her. I felt my heart break for the second time because of him. He had someone? I hid behind the wall as the made their way to his apartment. I closed my eyes and leaned on the wall. No! Quincy please don't.I heard her annoying laugh and I knew..... After the door closed I rushed across the street and made my way home. I knew Chris would be waiting for me. Marcus was waiting in the front. I sighed.

"Where you been?" He said.

"Out. "I said in an annoyed tone. I walked right by him and went to check the mail. He followed me of course. I slammed the mailbox closed.

"Jay talk to me." He said. I just pushed him on the wall and kissed him. He kissed me back. I pulled away.

"I can't do this with you..Alexis." He said.

"Then you're useless to me. Leave. "I yelled.

"I can be here as a friend Jay what are you talking about?" He said.

"Friends? What fucking use are they get the fuck out." I yelled.

"Is everything okay?" Chris said walking into the building holding a bag. I looked at him and back too Marcus.

"Jay talk to me please. Don't shut me out again."

"It was your own fault that happened."

"Jay you can't keep blaming me and Lisa for what happened. I tried."
