Jason POV:

"Percy?" Jason asked in a hushed voice.

"Yeah Jason?" questioned Percy, glancing over his shoulder.

Percy was Jason's best friend. He had jet black hair the was never, ever neat. He had bright sea green eyes that always had a glint of joy. He was about Jason's age, six feet even, and a tan athletic body. Even though he was just an average peasant, he was the most handsome guy that faced the earth. Every single girl tried wooing him and making him fall deeply and madly in love with them, but he is also known as the one guy that has never had a girlfriend.

"Why in the name of all the gods, and I mean all the gods, are you staring at the flowers like your in love with them?" Jason asked in a worried tone.

"It's not the flowers I'm staring at, it's the girl who is taking care of the flowers." Percy pointed to a blond kneeling down and pulling out the crab grass.

Jason thought she was cute, but not drop dead gorgeous. The girl had curly blond hair that was tied back into a messy ponytail. She wore servant clothing and gray gloves. She had an athletic body with a nice bronze tan. She had a small smile on her face, like she was enjoying the garden work.

"Isnt she just... beautiful?" sighed Percy.

Jason looked at Percy and the blond and realized that Percy was in love. Jason dumbbled over laughing and causing a huge commotion, gaining the attention of the blond.

Percy looked frantic and tried Jason to stop laughing before the girl came over, but that only made Jason laughed even harder.

"Excuse me, is that man alright?" asked the girl looking down at Jason questioning.

"Ughhhhh..... Ummmmm....... Ughhhh...." replied Percy, drool dripping down the corner of his mouth. Jason laughed even harder.

"Sir, you have some drool." The girl pointed out to Percy.

"Ughhh...." replied Percy, again.

The girl rolled her eyes and smirked. "Obviously you cant take care of it yourself, so let me get it." The girl got on her knees and wiped Percy's mouth with her clean rag.

"The name is Annabeth, your's?" Annabeth asked while wipping Percy's mouth.

"Ughh... P-p-percy." Percy replied nervously. He held out his hand to try to make it a more proper greeting than it has been.

She took it gladly and shook his hand.

Jason got up from his laughing fit and introduced himself to Annabeth and explained that Percy made him laugh.

"Please mind my friend, he can be a seaweed brain." Jason apoligized sacastically.

Percy glared daggers at Jason and coughed loudly.

"You know, if the princess was here at this moment then my friend here," Percy pointed to Jason behind him. ", then he would be drooling a river for her. You see-"

"Percy is in love with you, Annabeth." Jason declared trying to change the conversation.

Percy's face turned from his normal tan color to a tomato color. Annabeth's brow's shot up, and her face turned strangely pink. Was she blushing? Jason thought.

"Umm..... hey Jason, I think its time to go kick you're butt, again." Percy smiled sweetly at Annabeth and glared at Jason.

"Hey Annabeth?" Jason asked, smiling evily.

Annabeth turned her attention to Jason and nodded.

"Would you like to have supper with Percy tonight?" Jason asked. He could feel Percy's eyes trying to burn through Jason's head.

"Sure, I get of work at eight. If you dont mind, can my friend come with us? If you're coming with us, that is."  Annabeth requested.

"You said yes...?" Percy mumbled to himself.

"Sure, if she wants to come. We'll come back here at eight." Jason accepted, surprised Annabeth even said yes to going to dinner with Percy.

"Wonderful, well see you then!" Annabeth smiled. She walked up to Percy, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and waved goodbye.
