"James" I quietly called walking in our room, Room 64.
I was shaking and feeling kinda nervous. Earlier that morning a business man walked in the Hotel, saying that his collegue was found dead in Room 89. I knew that James rarely killed out of his own room, but still, I had to know. That man said he's called Newman, the famous Johnatan Gregory Newman from the US Army. FBI and CIA would've probably came over to solve the mystery of the man's collegue's death.
"Miss Sasha, you look worried, honey" James quietly said reaching me, sitting on our bed next to me. I let out a soft breath before speaking.
"Have you ever seen this man before?" I asked, showing him a picture of the man found dead.
"Is it a new guest we have to take care of?" he asked back, raising an eyebrow. I loudly sighed and quietly placed my right hand on his left leg, glancing up right into his eyes.
"This man is called Taylor Parker, he worked for the US Army and a collegue of his, Mr.Johnatan Newman, walked in this morning and found him dead up in Room 89" I said, running out of breath.
He stayed silent for a while, not letting go on his sight on mine. He had a serious thinking look on his beautiful face. I carefully placed my hand on his cheek, slowly caressing it with my warm fingers. I saw him growing relaxed as he let out a soft sigh and layed his head on my shoulder. We both knew what the problem was, and we both knew there was only a way to solve it.

"I know who did that" Ren suddenly said, as usual, showing up from the reception desk.
"You know who did what" Iris flatly asked.
"I know who killed that man"
"Wasn't it March?" Liz asked, worried. I shook my head no and stared right into Ren's big brown eyes, she smiled up at me.
"Will you come with me?" she asked,
"Can I take James with me?" I asked back. She thought about it for a second before smiling again and nodding.
I ran up to the 6th floor again, grabbed some torches, a candle, and a hoodie. James told me I wouldn't be needing that since I couldn't be shown to the people I didn't want to, but I still hadn't learnt how to make that work. He smiled down at me, giving me chills and good vibes. I suddenly found myself smiling back without even noticing it. He slowly leaned in and kissed me slowly, as sparks flew all over the room.
I still couldn't explain how, after all that time, he could make me feel as happy as the very first time we kissed. He knew me way too good by now, and so did I, eventually. I just loved the way he did any little thing of his, any of his smiles, any of his looks and grimaces. I loved every little thing that made him. Like, for real.
"Uhm, Mr.March, Miss.Sasha" Ren coughed with a small laugh. We slowly pulled away, still glancing at each other's eyes with a smile.
"Let's get this done" I smiled again, sighing a little.
We let ourselves in one of the oldest hidden room of the Hotel, it was the only way to see through all the room's little air entrances. It was dirty and kinda gross, but it was somehow something we had to do. Even though I didn't really completely get why. I tried not to complain too much, I didn't want to sound like the other girls. It wasn't dirt that was upsetting me but the fact of having a new killer hanging around in our Hotel. It felt disappointing and kinda unfair to me, this was our place after all. And I didn't like new guests coming around, I won't lie.
We slid into one of the dirtiest place of Room 89, so no one could've been able to see us. I let my eyes run freely and wild through the small wall air entrance, taking a wide complete careful look into the room. It was quiet dark and the smell of dirt and death started growing stronger. There was a dead body on the red dirty bloody carpet.
"I saw the whole thing" Ren whispered, as James quietly looked at her, then at me. Laying then his eyes on the bloody crime scene.
"He's no good at it" he said, I softly laughed at the perfectionist side of his.
"He, if it's a he, cut his throat and left the knife right there next to the body. This is just so stupid and shallow"
"I taught you right, ma'am" James smiled, I inevitably smiled back.
"It's a she" Ren firmly said as we stared at her at the same exact time.
"It is?" James asked in confusion, with that strong accent of his.
"Well, then, of course it's shallow" I laughed.
"It means no thing, ma'am. You wouldn't be this shallow, you leave no evidence"
"That's because I've learnt from the best, uhuh" I grinned, he widely smiled at me as I soon gave him a peck on his soft warm lips.
"She's here. She's coming" Ren pointed out as the door shut wide open, I softly jumped and grabbed James' arms. He soon pulled me to him as the three of us stared at a figure walking in, getting closer to the dead body.
I tried to recognize who the figure was, blinking a couple of times. The room was darker now, it was slighly impossible to see clear. I followed her movements as she grabbed the knife and carefully cleaned it with a soaked cloth. She placed it on a wooden table and grabbed the man's wallet, stealing all the money he had. We're not talking about 20 dollars, that guy must've had thousands of dollars in that luxurious black leather wallet of his.
She grabbed her phone and texted someone, a soft light was now on her hair. Blonde. She was blonde. I knew a couple of blonde new guests of the Hotel, but none of them seemed like coming up in my mind in that moment. I turned to James who was still trying to focus on the dark figure standing in the room.
"Time to go" I quietly said, loud enough to be heard by him but not by Ren, who was just a couple of inches away. He nodded, took my hand and helped me climbing back in the hidden room between the walls.
"Don't you want the name?" Ren asked as we started walking our way back in the dirty dark narrow pathway, I glanced up at James who suprisely smiled down at me.
"I need no names, I'm no fool" he smirked, as I stared up at him, feeling stupid.
He seemed like getting who the girl was but why didn't I get it? Was I that blind? How could I not see? Who could it be anyway?
