Diggy's POV

I woke up and turned over. My heart stopped. Maya fell asleep in my bed....laying on me....with her arms around my waist.....how is she going to feel about that. I slowly tried moving so that I wouldn't wake her. That would be too awkward. I moved and so did the bed causing her to wake up. Oh crap.

Maya's POV

I woke up from the best night's sleep. I was holding onto something. What it was i dont know. I don't remember my bed being this comfortable. Wait. My bed was never this comfortable. I opened my eyes to come face-to-face with a guy I have seen before. He's staring at me like I'm going to go crazy or something. What happened last night? Oh yeah, Diggy took me to his house. Wait a second. I'm in Diggy Simmons's bed. I'M IN DIGGY'S BED!!!!! While I was thinking this over I didn't realize he was talking to me.

Diggy: hello? Maya? Are you ok? Oh my God she's in shock or something. What am I supposed to do??

I eventually got my voice to work.

Maya: Um hi. This is kinda awkward...

Diggy:*laughing* that's the understatement of the year.

Maya: We didn't do anything did we?

I looked down. I still have on clothes. Well a t-shirt and basketball shorts. I didn't change into that myself.

Maya: You changed me?

Diggy: I didn't look I swear. And we didn't do anything.

Well this just got ten times more awkward.

Maya: how did I wind up in your bed exactly?

Diggy: you were really tired and fell asleep in my car. I carried you inside and brought you in here. I was going to let you sleep here and go in a guest room but when I tried to put you down you held onto me and started talking in your sleep. You said someone named DeAndre would get you and for me to stay with you. I changed you into a pair of shorts and a shirt because I wanted you to be comfortable. I said I would stay with you and you held onto me until you went to sleep. By that time I was really tired and didn't want to leave you cause you asked me not to......Can I ask you a question?

Maya: you just did but ok.

Diggy: who is DeAndre and why would he be after you?

Maya: um.... That's my ex....

Diggy:ok and he's after you why?

Maya: it's hard to explain and I don't really like to talk about it.

Diggy: ok....so he's your ex......who's your current?

Maya: I'm not really in a relationship. It's complicated. He won't give me a answer. I'm getting tired of waiting....

Diggy: well..... I would never do you like that. I mean you're so beautiful and he's messing with your heart. You need confirmation and he won't give you that. That's not right.

Maya: what are you saying? Are you askin me out?

Diggy: if I am will you say yes?

Maya: I might

Diggy: you could give me a chance?

Maya: Ok. But if you mess up

Diggy: I won't I promise

Maya: ok

Diggy: you want something to eat?

My phone started ringing. It was Asia's ringtone. I couldn't find it and it stopped ringing.

Maya: that was Asia

Then he got a text message. He looked to see who it was.

Diggy: that was Asia. She wanted to know if we wanted to go shopping today. I'll go if you do but I'm kinda tired.

Maya: me too. How about I cook us some breakfast and we can come back in here and chill. you like bacon and eggs?

Diggy: sounds like a plan
