Chapter Five

CHAPTER FIVE

*Sydney's P.O.V*

"Really? She's awake?" "Yes. Why would I lie about that?" "I don't know!" "Ok then... Goodbye." "Bye!" I hang up. Cali looks at me. "Who was that?" "It was Liv's brother." Now everyone's staring at me. "Guys, Liv's awake." They all start screaming. Well, except for James, but he looks like he might die any second. He starts crying. "Are we gonna visit her or not?" They all stare at me again. ""Well, lego!" We all run to get into my mom's minivan. "Mom! I'm gonna take the van to visit Liv!" "That's fine honey! Just be careful!" I know she misses Liv. Liv used to make her laugh a lot. She used to make ALL of us laugh. I take the keys and start driving. Cari is sitting shotgun. She turns to me. "Syd? Is Liv really awake?" She looks like she's about to cry. "Well, Harry said so, and if there's even the tiniest chance she's awake, I'm gonna take that chance. Liv's a fighter. We need to believe in her."

*Liv's P.O.V*

I've been asleep for a while. At least that's what Harry said. After we talk for a while, Harry took out his phone. "Sorry Liv, but I have to go." He gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Bye Harry. Love you." "Love you too sis." With that, he leaves. I think that either my room was redecorated, or I'm not at home. The last thing I remember, was I was driving to Chloe's house with Sydney. Then, after that, everything went black. Maybe I fell asleep at Chloe's, and she let me stay there. But, I don't even remember getting to her house. And if Syd was with me, then how did she get home? Also, since when does Chloe have a hospital room in her house? Huh. Weird. My foot is lifted in a brace, and my arms have tubes in them. That's cool and all, but I HATE the hospital. I'm gonna head home. I try to get up, but I can't. I look down at my hands. I see that my arms are strapped down to the bed. I then look at my leg that's not in a brace. It's also strapped down to the bed. "Aww man! I'm stuck!" I look around the room. "Hmm..." I just start singing a few random songs. By the third song, I'm getting bored.

All of the sudden, I hear footsteps running towards the door. I decide to act like I'm sleeping. I close my eyes. I hear, "Guys, maybe be was lying." The voice was right outside the door. "No, he wouldn't lie about this." "Are you sure? I mean, none of us know him except for Syd, and she only met him for two minutes." "Hey." A new voice spoke. "Guys, if there's even a tiny chance she's awake, then I'm going in." No one else spoke.

I hear the door open. "No! She was supposed to be awake! That's what Harry said!" "Shh Cari. Maybe she's just sleeping." Then someone gently squeezes me. I yell, "Boo!" "Ahh!" I open my eyes and start laughing my butt off. I see my BFFs staring at me. "What? Is there something on my face?" I ask worriedly. Cari comes up to me, touches my face, and then hugs me tightly. She starts crying. "Shh. It's ok Cari. I won't let the Evil Mr. Bean get you." She gets off of me. "That's not why I'm crying Liv." I'm confused. Sydney steps up. "Liv, you've been in a coma for two months."
