Chapter Sixteen

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

*Cari's POV*

Liam, my sister, and Sydney surrounded me. I tried push through them but, it didn't work. "Why do you keep running away?" Liam asked. "Can I talk to you alone Liam?"

"Yeah. Girls if you don't mind." Syd and Cali walked back in to the house and Liam said, "Now answer my question." "I don't want to talk about last night. When I woke up this morning I knew that would the topic for the day." "Ok I get that but, if you would give them a chance to talk they might not even bring it up."

"Ok. Thanks Liam." "For what?" "For last night." and I went inside.

*Liv's P.O.V*

I had been running into Zayn alot that week. I had the feeling he was trying to ask me out. I was deep in thought when ran into someone. Just my luck it was...Zayn. I got up on feet and tried to walk away but, he stopped me. "Hey Liv can ask you something before you run off?" Shoot he figured it out.

"Yeah Zayn go ahead." "Do you maybe want to go out sometime?" So i was right he was wanting to ask me out. "Umm..." And I ran away.

*Zayn's P.O.V*

I'm upset that Liv ran away from me. maybe if I hadn't kissed her the other day, she would speak to me...

"Ugh!" I punch the wall in my room. "Why am I so stupid?!" I punch the wall again. "Why do I feel f***ing rainbows and unicorns every time we touch?!" Again.

I sigh and fall onto my bed. I pull the photo Harry had given me out of my pocket. We both looked so innocent and carefree! What happened to us?

I actually remember that day...

-----------FLASHBACK-----------

I was going to a circus with my family, and I had brought my favorite book. My mum had told me to stay where I was, because I didn't want to watch the show.

I had read a few pages, and then I heard someone singing. it was a little girl around two or three years younger than me. She had a beautiful voice!

She had long blonde hair, big blue eyes, and was wearing a black T-shirt and white skinny jeans. I mean, she looked pretty cool! For a girl at least...

As the girl walked by, I yelled, "Wait!" She slowly turned around with a handful of popcorn in her mouth. "Yeah?" She asked shyly.

"Well, I umm, k-kinda h-heard ya umm, s-singing." I stutter nervously. "Oh." She looks down at her sneakers. "So! Do ya live around here?" She asks randomly.

"No. I live in Bradford with my family." "Cool. I live in Holmes Chapel." Back to an awkward silence. She suddenly chuckles. "What?" I ask her. "A gay baby was just born..."

I laugh with her. She's hilarious! "Do ya know how to read?" I ask. "Well, I still get some words messed up, but kinda." She says, again shy. "Well, come here and I'll help ya." I pat the ground next to me.

She sits and leans to see the book. I help her read for a few minutes, and she starts to fall asleep. Pretty soon, her head falls into her bag of popcorn. She wakes up and starts laughing.

I laugh too, as she tries to blow a popcorn kernel out of her nose. I hear footsteps, and look behind her to see a boy around two years younger than me.

He has curly brown hair, emerald green eyes, and little dimples. "C'mon Liv. It's time to go." He says. Liv... So THAT'S her name. "Kk. Bye..." "Zayn." I say clearly. She smiles, and I see that she has dimples too. "Bye then, Zayn."

They start walking away, and I stare after them. I bet they're related. Their faces are VERY similar.

When I went home, I couldn't stop thinking about Liv. Her hair, her voice, her ocean blue eyes, or the cute dimples in her cheeks. But, like every other memory, Liv drifted out of my mind...

--------UN-FLASHBACK-------

*Cali's P.O.V*

Louis and I were on the couch watching a hockey game, when the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" he yelled and ran to get the door.

He walks back in with two people. A guy with ginger like hair, and a girl with dirty blonde hair. "Can I help you?" I asked them politely.

"Yeah. I'm Tim, and this is Amber. We're here to see Liv." the boy says. I hear footsteps on the stairs, and see Liv walking down looking like she's drunk.

Oh no! Not the Mt. Dew stash in my room! I hurry to her side, and she collapses into my arms. Tim looks worried, and rushes to help.

Liv looks up and sees Tim and Amber. Her eyes literally shine in happiness. "Tim! Amber!" She stumbles into Tim's open arms. Amber walks over, and they have a moment.

*Tim's P.O.V*

It's Liv! "Liv!" Amber and I yell t the same time. We look at each other an laugh. Amber and I have been dating for a month now, and we're gonna tell Liv tonight.

"Guys!!" She yells. We attack each other with hugs. "I missed you guys so much! Where were you?" She bombards us with questions.

"Slow down Liv! We just got here!" Amber giggles at her behavior. I hear a grunt from the stairs, and look up to see a guy in his 20's.

He has black hair styled into a quiff, brown eyes, and a tan. He looks murderously at me before going back to whatever hole he came from.

I'm guessing he likes Liv, but she's oblivious to it. Just like so many other guys before him. Even I liked her at one point in time.

We hug for a bit longer, and then she asks, "So, are you two dating?" we look at her, shocked. How did she know? "Yeah. I love Amber so much." I say, and kiss Amber on the lips.

"Good for you guys! Amber, you owe me 20 bucks." she demands, holding out her hand for the money. Amber sighs, and pulls out a 50.

"Do you have change?" she asks hopefully. "NoPe!" Smirks Liv. And she skips away, leaving Amber and I alone.

*Niall's P.O.V*

I love Sydney SO much! I just wish she could see it! I've been waiting to kiss her ever since I saw her a few weeks ago.

"Niall?" A sweet voice interrupted my thoughts. "Yes Sydney?" I ask lovingly. "Well, I wanted to tell you something important." she says seriously. "Go on." "I think I love you Niall..."

I sit there shocked. I don't know why I'm shocked. Maybe because I didn't think she could possibly love me. She gets up, and runs away crying.

My chest hurts, knowing I was the cause of her crying. I run after her, to find her sitting on Liv's back porch swing, looking into the woods.

I approach her carefully, and sit down next to her. "Sydney." I beg for her to look at me. "Sydney, look at me." Nothing. "Syd, I just wanted you to know that I love you too."

With that, she looks at me with tear filled eyes. I take her face gently in my hands, and kiss her passionately on the lips. She tasted like blueberries and kiwi, but that wasn't the best part. The best part was that this was my first kiss.

AHH!!!! ANOTHER CHAPPIE DONE!!!!! WHEW! SYDNEY AND NIALL SHARED A KISS!!!! YaY! I LUV U GUYS THAT READ MY BOOK, BUT I WOULD LUV U MORE IF U COMMENTED AND VOTED....
