Chapter 3: Lesson Plan and Elvendom

At lunch,all five of them sat at a medium sized round table. It was decorated with a white silk table cloth,with a bunch of fresh flowers at the middle. It also has five plates,five pairs of spoon and fork with a knife each and a wine glass for each of them. At the center of the hall was four big buffet table wich the students can get their food. Starting from seafoods and stakes to pie,cake,tarts, and other delicious meals. Their are also pumpkin juice,shakes and to Hyuk's delight---red wine. This is what Jisoo noticed as they sat at their table.
"Is that your all your gonna eat?" He asked Hyuk. Hyuk only nodded.
"I never saw him eat something and he always says nothing when I asked him so, why bother right?" Said Ravi while munching his burger and flushing it down with mango shake.
Jisoo didn't push the subject so he brought a new topic.
"So,existence? Of elves?" He asked turning to Jessica. Jessica only pointed at her brother.
"Our race start before arcane magic was given to the world. At that time, earth was not yet corrupted with the turmoil caused by humans. In our case, we stay hidden deep into the heart of the forest for our ancestors are very much afraid of the attitude shown by the human race. So the humans only know us for being creatures of legends and myth, created only from the wildest imagination. But when the world was thrown to chaos,the elves were forced to come out of hiding and so here we are now. Me and Jessica were both royal-blood in the race of elves. My real name was Aranhil which is elvish for the name Regan. On the other hand, Regan means 'Kings Heir'. While my sister Jessica's real name was Penneth which means 'Little One'. Jisoo's ooooooh and ahhhhh earned a hearty laugh from Jessica. " You don't consider us as freaks right?" Jessica asked, still smiling.

"What!? No! No! Of course not." Jisoo answered, shocked. He never considered them as freaks for God's sake! In fact he was rather fascinated with them for what Woozi said was true. He only believes in fairies and elves in his childhood. Stories his mother used to tell him before he goes to sleep.
"Gîl síla na lû govaded." Jessica said, then stand as the bell rang.
"What did she say?" Jisoo asked Ravi. Ravi just shrugged.
"She said that, 'A star shines upon our meeting.' Woozi answered for him.
"A star?"
"Yes. Elven people usually find guidance from looking through stars."
Jisoo for the nth time of the day just nodded. He was sure learning a ton of things now.

Back at the classroom, professor. Emma welcomed them again.
"Alright then, moving on to the Creation school. Most mage-level healing spells are contained in this school, as well as several defensive spells. There are also spells in this school which can be used to harm opponents. Now some examples," Emma said as the board erased itself again, before the Primal examples were replaced with new ones.

1. Heal, the mage imbues the target with restorative energy, staunching bleeding, knitting torn flesh and mending broken bones. Incantation: Curatus

2. Haste, the mage imbues the target with speed, allowing them to move and attack much faster than they normally could. Incantation: Acceleratus

3. Glyph of Paralysis, the mage magically creates a glyph on the ground which paralyzes the first target to cross it for twenty seconds, rendering them unable to move or take any action. Incantation: Enervare

4. Glyph of Repulsion, the mage magically creates a glyph which repels opponents with a strong wave of telekinetic force. This spell is most often cast on the ground beneath the mage's feet, thus repelling anyone who gets too close to them. Incantation: Repulsus

5. Grease, the mage conjures a grease slick, slowing down anyone walking through it, while also making it possible they'll slip and fall. If set on fire, the grease burns intensely for a short time and will burn anyone in the area. Incantation: Adipis

6. Stinging Swarm, the mage conjures a swarm of stinging insects which descend on a single target, biting them until the person loses consciousness. Incantation: Aculeatus Examinis
