A Second Chance

The Begging (chp. 1)

"Judith wake up your about to be late for school!" Judith slowly gets up out of bed and picks out her clothes for the day. She had a brand new outfit she wanted to try on for her first day of school. It was a baby blue shirt with a picture of a puppy playing fetch and a pair of shorts with 2 holes in them.
She goes into the kitchen and her mom has made her favorite breakfast. Bacon and eggs sunny side up. She would not eat anything else for breakfast. After she finished eating she washed her plate and went into the living room and asked her dad " hey daddy can I have a puppy?" Her dad told her that they could go look after school. She was thrilled she had always wanted one kind of dog. A hound she would name him Gary.
The bus pulled up to her house. Her
mother handed Judith her book bag and she darted out the door to her bus. She sat next to her friend LeAnn. They talked about their summer and where they went to. LeAnn told Judith that she went to Africa to help feed hungry children. LeAnn asked Judith what she did this summer Judith paused and said, " all I did was sit on my butt and listen to music and watched Netflix."
They both laughed until the bus driver yelled at them. They laughed quietly at her. She had a wart on her face as big as a dime. She had more make-up then a clown. They pulled up to her school all the students filed out and went to breakfast.
Judith had Mrs. Jinx for science. The bell rung and Mrs. Jinx introduced herself " hello I am Mrs. Jinx and i will be your science teacher for this year. Our subject is deadly diseases." Judith scooted up she loved these type of things. Mrs. Jinx sent them home to do a disease of thier choice.
Judith went home and told her mom that she had to do a project over cancer. Judith's mom said okay​ and took her to the store while she bought stuff for dinner, and Judith bought stuff for her project. They checked out and went home Judith researched cancer symptoms and what it does to you. She fell asleep while finishing the project.
The next day Judith turned in her project. Mrs. Jinx was amazed and she was overfilled with joy by how much work she did on her project. The day went on and Judith went home but as soon as she got home she ran to the bathroom and puked. Judith's mom took her to the hospital. They checked her in immediately. The doctors took her to a room for examination.
After the test to see what was wrong Judith's parents came in to see their little girl with a lot of needles in her. She had an I.V giving her antibiotics, and a catheter because she could not get up to use the restroom. And a whole lot of other gadgets and gizmos all doing other things. Judith's mother turned and set her head on Judith's fathers shoulder and cried hysterically. She looked up at him and said " oh our poor little girl she must be terrified." They both sat next to her and then she woke up and said " Mommy, Daddy is that you guys. "
