"Get her out of this ambulance!" Detective Hamilton instructed the paramedic whilst he walked to the front of the convoy to tell the officers the move is not happening anymore.

The paramedics moved the hysterical Athena to her previous position and just as the last of the convoy dispersed the digits on her vest stopped counting down. The sharp ringtone was once again heard loud and clear.

"Detective Hamilton" he announced himself.

"Put Athena on the phone!" the terrorist demanded.

Athena waved her fingers back and forth in front of her neck signalling Detective Hamilton that she isn't up for the conversation, but before she could decline the cell phone was already in her hands.

"Hello?" A wobbly voice started.

"You sound much better than earlier," The terrorist joked.

Athena momentarily relived the fear of when she woke up with a man in a ski-mask standing over her head. Cold sweat broke out on her forehead and palms and her chest felt as if it was compressed by an external force. Everything was dead silent around her until the terrorist spoke again.

"Anyways, your next step is to phone your boyfriend from this phone."

Athena's eyes widened in surprise but still remained silent.

"Arrange me a meeting with him. You have 5 minutes." The terrorist barked.

"Why does he want to meet with your boyfriend?" Detective Hamilton asked puzzled.

Athena still remained silent with the phone in her hand even though the terrorist had hung up.

"Answer my question Athena!" the detective demanded.

Athena pretended that she did not hear him and turned her head away from him.

Detective Hamilton walked away from Athena with both his hands on his head. He was despondent.

After five minutes had passed the digits started counting down again, but Athena couldn't care less. She waved the detective closer and asked him how long it would take to move her.

"About fifteen minutes. Why?" He asked.

"If we leave right now, we might just make it and still have time to spare so that you can get far away!" Athena said whilst trying to stand up.

"Are you crazy?" The detective made a strange face.

"No! I am not, and if you don't respect my wish I am going to hail a cab!" Athena stated daringly.

By that time Athena had gotten to her feet and started walking in the direction of a cab she identified.

"What a strong willed girl. Pity her outcome doesn't look so good." Detective Hamilton murmured while trailing her with his eyes. Before he could question his impulsive decision he ran after her.

"Athena, wait! I'll take you." He placed his hand on her shoulder and directed her towards his car. She smiled at him and jogged towards his car.

They had just left the zoned off area when that irritating cell phone blared out its sharp ringtone once again. Athena handed the phone to Detective Hamilton, but he refused to answer it as he was busy driving at a high speed.

"What?" she snarled.

The terrorist made a sound to clarify that he disapproves of Athena's tone and the continued talking after a pause, "You better be on your way to meet Sivan!"
