----time skip---- (a few days later)
I thrust my stone sword through the skeleton's chest, then sliced downwards as to tear it in half, it fell to the ground and I grabbed its bow and some arrows. I continued walking through the damp cave and came across some iron ore, as I was mining it I heard a thump and a hiss from a dark passage to my left and then another thud, an explosion, an echoing crash and a strangely humane scream about 15 seconds later. When I had finished mining the ore I walked over there, placing down torches along the way, there was a decapitated creeper with its guts spilling out of its stomach on the floor and its head attached to the wall behind it by an arrow.
'This is too skillful to be the work of a skeleton' I think to myself.
I suddenly notice a trail of blood leading around the corner, so I go and investigate. There was a large rivine with a couple of pools of lava dotted around the ledges and I could just about make out an indistinguishable corpse, as well as some fallen rocks beside them. Just as I was thinking about what could have happened I noticed a large crater on the side of the rivine, about 10 meters to the left of my level.
I decide that it would be a good idea to come back tomorrow once I've dropped off all of my loot and had a rest, so I make my way back to my hut.
----The Next Day----
As I climb out of bed I tripped over my chainmail chestplate and faceplant the
Floor. I decide to craft an iron sword and pickaxe and then go back to the cave system I had been exploring yesterday to find the body.
When I found the body I noticed that there was an arrow in the side of the woman's head that had a note attached to it that said
"You're next"
'Oh shit' I think
When I searched the woman's body I found a few loafs of bread and an iron chestplate, leggings and boots.
I found the note very worrying so I decide that I should make it one of my top priorities to find the base of these.... People? I don't know..... I'm going to search that structure I noticed on my first night here first, it's really lucky that I had to cancel my previous expedition there due to my creeper injury otherwise I might not have even been here right now...
---Dave's P.O.V---
Steve received my message, it was a shame we had to kill Alex, but it was worth it. Hopefully he will come and try to find us soon, then we strike. I can't wait to get this job over and done with, maybe then Herobrine will finally give us the freedom he's been promising us for so long.....
