"Baekhyun-ah do you find this tree weird? It's the only tree here that flowers are blooming despite it being summer! The others look so plain! Baekhyun-ah, let's carve our names down here and 50 years later we shall return when we're 70 years old!"

Baekhyun nodded his head excitedly, picking up something hard from the ground and passing it to the girl standing beside him.

"Which spot shall we carve our names?" The girl wondered out loud.

"Facing the sun! So that this tree would always be warm and flowers would always blossom! Just like our long lasting relationship!"

Smiling, the girl carved their names on the bark of the tree, drawing a small heart to represent their everlasting love for each other. And today's date to commemorate the special day. A few notes written below.

Baekhyun looked at Joohyun, a small smile etched on her lips, it made him felt so blessed.

It was their first anniversary, and that day Baekhyun brought along sandwiches and packed along some drinks.

He dialled Joohyun's number anxiously, waiting for the latter to pick up her phone.

"Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun smiled, his eyes turning into crescents. "Joohyun! It's our first year anniversary! Let's meet at the tree later on at 3pm!" He suggested.

"Ah...I'll be a little late...if you don't mind."

Baekhyun had thought that her voice was weird, seemingly sad. He frowned but didn't thought much about it. "...alright then." He hung up the phone.

He stared at his prepared food, something weird was bugging him at the back of his head. He just couldn't figure out what exactly was it.

Later that afternoon, around 3:33pm did Joohyun arrived. She was dressed in a floral one piece dress. Baekhyun noticed her face, she seemed so pale as if she could collapse anytime soon.

"Joohyun you look pale are you fine?" Baekhyun asked in concern.

"Yeah I am, please do not worry. Let's eat!" Joohyun grinned happily. Though the smile felt nothing like happy no matter how many times Baekhyin viewed it.

"Cheers to our first anniversary!" Joohyun picked up the bottle of juice. Orange juice, just her favorite. As expected her boyfriend would know everything that she dislikes and likes. And she was glad to have him.

"Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun looked over.

"Thank you and I love you. Happy first anniversary." Joohyun hugged Baekhyun tightly. "I promise you to stay with you forever and I would never leave you."

Joohyun walked over to the tree. On the bark of the tree she added a few sentences to it.
