-Previously on Chapter 3-
"Dismissed! Gather at the foyer in half an hour!"
Everyone dashed, eager to get away from the soldiers as soon as possible.
"Are they always like that?" Alex asked once they were a certain distance away.
"Yeah. Fierce, demanding, and absolutely horrible to us. Scolding us at every single chance they get. And I think that was the hundredth time they gave the speech of theirs already."
"I don't think their that bad. I mean, there should be a reason right?"
"Not bad my foot. They PUNISH us for every tiny wincy mistake we make! Even a slip-up can get us into a hell lot of trouble!"
Alex bit his tongue to avoid a slip-up. No one else needed to be dragged into this mess. Luke did not need to know anything about his other life. Tom, Sabina, and her parents were enough.
"Come on, let's get back to the dorm. I want to get some sleep before the time is up."
"Race you back!" Alex turned tail, already running.
"Cheater!" Luke called back, racing to catch up.
Chapter 4
Is it fate, or is it destiny? Do we really control our future? Or is everything we do planned out for us already? Is every decision we make in life already decided a few million years ago? Do you believe there is such thing as a God?
This were the thoughts in our favorite spy's mind as he stared blankly at his book on Roman History which he had found in the sergeant's room- yes, he had been though the sergeant's room and stolen the one and only book that wasn't on military techniques, how to make a atomic bomb, and stuff along those lines, and to tell the truth, he wasn't impressed. At. All.
There was hardly any security near the door. Any Tom, Dick, or Harry lockpicker could have picked it, and there were only TWO cameras, which, could be easily avoided.
There was not even a single fingerprint sensitive pad! They really needed to invest more on security!
And worst still, the book had been in his hands for three days already, and he doubted that the sergeant even knew it was gone or there would have been lots of shouting, thumping, screaming or crying.
Alex's watch beeped softly as the minute hand hit 5.00 One had to strain to even hear the soft sounds.
Alex left the book under his bunk and opened his small brown locker that was stuffed into the cram room right beside his bed. On top of his was Luke as he slept on the bunk above his, and next to his was Willson's. The wimpy goody-two shoes kid that was always sticking up to the teachers but getting bullied by the older boys.
He took his training clothes and opened the door silently, blending into the morning shadows as he walled towards the most deserted restrooms to change. Rumor had it that that restroom was hunted by the spirit of the SEAL soldier that died there, wanting revenge on the world for his unfair death. It was said that those who went there would be cursed with bad luck, and no soldier wanted that. They had enough bad luck as it was already.

Alex's Pov
I walked like a panther, blending into the morning shadows-a skill that had long since became part of me.
It had almost became a routine over the past three days. Me waking up the earliest, walking the same path to the privacy of the bathrooms- I did NOT want anyone to see any of my 'trophies', changing, going back, dragging Luke out of bed, and definitely making sure we were NOT late. But still, I had to break this routine soon. Routines got people killed.
