Olivia's Perspective (Pov):

"Olivia, we've arrived. Do you ever find yourself missing Springflower High School?" Kaysar asked with a touch of sarcasm.

I responded by fixing him with a cool, measured gaze.

"Alright, my apologies. Let's not dawdle. Eros is waiting for us," Kaysar quickly changed the subject.

Kaysar and I made our way to the main entrance of Springflower High School, where we met up with Eros.

"So, Olivia, are you prepared for this?" Kaysar inquired.

I simply nodded, opting for silence.

They led the way inside, and I followed suit. Upon Eros and Kaysar's entry, the chorus of cheers from both male and female students erupted. This was entirely expected, considering Eros held the title of the number one "bad boy" and Kaysar was the number one jock at Springflower High School. However, when the crowd laid eyes on me, an abrupt hush fell over them, followed by hushed conversations and finger-pointing, which left me feeling increasingly ill at ease. Eros and Kaysar seemed to sense my discomfort, ushering me forward and positioning me between them.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Olivia," a familiar voice called out.

"Hello there. Do we have a prior acquaintance? My memory fails me regarding individuals of your... reputation," I turned to face Emma, a faint, mocking smile playing on my lips.

Emma and Sion, hand in hand, stood amidst a group of football players and cheerleaders. They bore an uncanny resemblance to a rather unfortunate bunch, with Emma and Sion playing the role of the crowned "king and queen of misfortune."

"What did you just say, you...?" Emma's voice wavered with anger.

"My apologies, did you have difficulty hearing me? Let me reiterate: I don't recall having any association with anyone of your... nature. So why are you attempting to engage with me?" I maintained my composed smile. She was undoubtedly vexed, just as I had intended. The surrounding crowd began to murmur with amusement, while Eros and Kaysar joined in with subdued laughter.

"You, you...!" Sion's face twisted with fury. Hearing those words from Sion stung. I needed to move past him.

"Oh, and who might you be? I was under the impression you'd lost your voice," I retorted, still smiling.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY GOODNESS, OLIVIA, YOUR WIT IS ASTONISHING! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF; MY STOMACH HURTS!" Eros burst into laughter, occasionally wiping away tears and clutching his abdomen.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, ME TOO, MY STOMACH HURTS! OLIVIA, YOU'RE INCREDIBLE!" Kaysar chimed in, struggling to suppress his amusement.

Sion and Emma were visibly flushed with embarrassment and anger. Well, they had brought this upon themselves when they decided to betray me with each other.

"You...!" Sion raised his hand, seemingly intent on striking me, but he appeared to have forgotten that I wasn't the same Olivia anymore. I intercepted his hand before it could make contact with my face.

"Is this how you treat a lady?" I asked calmly, still smiling, while gradually increasing the pressure on his hand.

"You...you, let go of me!" Sion protested.

"Where are your manners?" I inquired, squeezing his hand more firmly.

"Please...please, release my hand," Sion implored, appearing rather pitiable. When had the once-arrogant Sion become so feeble? I must have been somewhat blinded when I was with him.

"That's more appropriate," I remarked, smiling, and then released his hand.

He shot me an irate glare, and I met it with one of my own.

"What's transpiring... OMG, EROS, KAYSAR, OLIVIA, YOU'RE BACK!" Someone I had genuinely missed emerged from the crowd that had gathered around us – Ace! Ace belonged to the same club as Eros and Kaysar, the soccer club. He was also my childhood friend, although we hadn't communicated much since high school began.

Ace pushed through the crowd, followed by the soccer seniors who were part of Eros and Kaysar's "group," individuals I was well acquainted with.

"OLIVIA!!!" A petite girl with a strong voice dashed toward me, embracing me tightly.

"Hello, Ash," I greeted her warmly, running my hand through her hair and offering a heartfelt smile.

Ash was Ace's girlfriend, a formidable fighter skilled in various martial arts like Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, Karate, Wushu, and more. She even practiced Kendo.

I had met her two to three years ago when Ace introduced us, and we instantly forged a deep friendship, akin to that of sisters.

Everyone's Positions: Crowd -> <- Cheerleaders Emma Olivia Kaysar Footballers Sion Eros Soccer Seniors Crowd

"Hey, why's everyone crowding around?" Oh, no, it was the vice principal!

"Olivia Winstons, you'd better be prepared for what's to come!" Emma issued a warning before departing.

I suppose everything went smoothly, but my quest for retribution had only just begun. Emma and Sion, the tables have turned, and it's time for you to exercise caution. I smirked.
