Chapter 1

"Be my girlfriend."

Three words that took me by shock.

Three words that got me to stop my every movement, causing me to ponder.

Normally I would shriek in happiness. That is if the guy who asked you out wasn't a self-centred, egotistic jerk. It was my unlucky day to have gotten that type of guy.

"Fuck off." I say slamming my locker shut and pulling my bag over my shoulder before walking off. Not given any second thought to my words or action.

"Wait-" he says grabbing my arm and spinning me around.

"Don't joke around with me, Liam." I say impatiently, pulling my arm off his grip. "If this is some prank or bet than don't bother to try anything." I say seriously.

"I wasn't finished what I was saying." He says, showing no signs of humour to indicate it being some sort of prank.

I remain silent and fold my arm over my chest. "Go on." I dryly speak.

"I need you to be my fake girlfriend." He repeats.

"Oh, why didn't you say that from the start." I say sarcastically with high tone in my voice. "Of course, I fucking won't." I say seriously.

Who does he think I am? Coming to me like we're some sort of friends.  Liam is known as one of the 'badass' in our school with his trouble maker friends. We did occasionally encounter with each other but only resulting to bickering over many things.

"Listen I don't have a choice here. Do you think I want to ask you?" He says tone raising and eyes sharpening.

Why did it sound like an insult when he said 'you'. He should be damn lucky to be dating me.

Closing my eyes and counting to ten I let out small breath of air, claiming myself down. Calm down, Rose. You know his an asshole. Nothing new of him acting like this. It's his shitty nature.

"You really know how to get a girl speechless." I say bitterly sweet.

Thankfully one of my friends saw me and came towards our direction, interrupting this awkward talk.

"I've been looking for yo-" Massy stops mid sentence noticing Liam and looks between us.

"What's going on?" She asks curiously.

I continue staring at Liam, neither of us  breaking contact. I slowly parted my lips to speak, but Liam quickly spoke.

"Nothing."

And walks off, slightly hitting my shoulder.

"What was that about?" She asks confused as I was.

We both turn looking at Liam walking off. I will admit he was good looking. His chocolate brown hair hung down his forehead with the end slightly brushing against his blue eyes.

Majority of girls would bounce up and down in cheers to be asked to be his fake girlfriend. So this lead me to wonder, why out of all girls in this school he would ask someone he doesn't like. Not like he actually likes any girls he makes out with. But me! We hate each other. And why did he quickly walk off when Massy came? Doesn't he want anyone to know?

"I have no idea."
