Two weeks had passed since the crater appeared on the beach. I spent the first three days after the crater appeared searching the jungle in case it was some was just wandering around like I was, but I got bored of doing that so I started practicing using my powers more. I learned more about controlling fire mostly because I played with it more than practiced, but controlling water was a bit difficult.

I was laying down on the floor of my tree shack after spending the morning gardening and gathering food then took a nap, by the time I awoke it was already evening so I didn't bother to get up to do anything else and just lay there for a couple hours. I got up about three hours later cause I felt a bit hungry, but by that time it was already basically dark so I spread small fire balls  hovering just above the lush green grass with them spread to what I estimate to be four feet apart from each other in three rows ten feet apart from each other making a sixty foot bulls-eye on the ground with my tree shack at the center.

I lit four torches for the inside of my little shack one for each corner, then went outside to the base of the tree to get some thing to eat from a hollow log I made into a chest to keep food,i had kept mostly fruit inside of it and not much meat because i didn't want to allow meat to spoil in there. I took out some meat i had roasted to eat, I had no idea what creature the meat was from due to the fact that there were so many strange creatures in this forest that i had never seen before, i'm also certain some of which r supposed to be extinct. I sat down on a rock and ate my meat as I watched out to the edge of the light circle my fires made around the tree, I  though of how i'd normally be in my bed using my laptop to play games or watching anime, I laughed to myself saying " i'm gonna be stuck here forever".

The next morning. it was raining when I woke up and the wind was blowing heavily, I waited until the rain calmed enough to go get anything caught in my traps, I put on a deer skin hoodie I made and rushed off to collect my next few meals.  In the end all my traps were empty except for one which only had the leg of a wild pig in it, I grabbed it and got away from there as fast as I can cause I did not know what took the rest of the body, I made my way back home to the tree shack. On my way back, I felt as though I wasn't alone, as though someone was nearby in the forest but I ignored it and kept moving. When I got home, I took some food from storage and went up into the tree shack, no sooner the rain picked back up and the wind began to blow strongly so I closed the entrance ,  the balcony doorway and the windows and tied them with vines so the wind wont force them open, then I took out a huge blanket I made in my free time for when it starts to rain so I could do one of my favorite things, which was to lay in bed wrapped up in a blanket and listen to the rain fall. I took down my hammock and placed it in a corner spread out, then placed more furs on it to make it like a mattress on the floor, I took my blanket wrapped myself up then flopped down on the furs, I wondered why I have so many furs and if I really trap so many animals and I knew that I would eat as much of the meat so I wouldn't have to constantly clean out spoiled meat or attract anything dangerous.

A few minutes went by and I realized I had forgotten about the trap that had the pigs leg in it and I came back home as a precaution, but I didn't let it bother me because lightening had began to flash and to me there was nothing better than enjoying the sound of lightening when rain falls, of course there were things I though were better but that was best at the moment. About half an hour went by and I began to drift off to sleep, I felt really at peace like I had no worry in the world except for the off chance lightening hit my tree. I listened to the heavy rain beating down on the world outside and the sound of the wind blowing in the trees, I kept listening to the point I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a sound as if the exit door had opened and closed, but I couldn't be bothered to look and fell asleep right after cause I dismissed it as just the wind moving the door a bit.
