The rescue and worry

Hey everyone thanks for reading if you made it this far then that means my story is at least remotely readable, so thank you everyone  for putting up with my mistakes this far.

  A week passed and Acelia and I had calmed down about the snake attack and we had even gotten use to Suzue being around. I climbed down out of the tree shack and stretched before going out to the garden, I got something to eat  then went back up to grab my  new set of snake tooth knives, Acelia was still asleep in the hammock I made for her and Suzue was somewhere in the top of the tree, I silently left headed for my garden but as soon as I was about to set foot out of the door way I heard Acelia step out of her hammock,"Where are you off to so quickly Kairo" she asked, "i'm off to my garden then I might practice using my water powers a bit", "Then hold on a bit i'm comin with ya"she answered.

 On our way to the garden we talked about our homes a bit and friends we had, I found out she was from the same island I was from but she moved away years ago, how her parents were a bit protective of her and she hated the color pink with a passion that could burn the sun. Over the week we talked a lot more than when we first met which is natural of course, but I felt uneasy a bit still because I was not much of a talker until I got to know a person more. 

 We soon arrived at the garden and Acelia sat beneath  a tree and watched me tend to the garden, I often made her sit and watch because I am use to doing things alone, she never objected so I took it that she didn't like gardening. I spent most of the morning gardening because some of the vegetables were ready so I picked and replanted, after I had finish and we went back home I sat on a rock in the river near the tree shack and cleaned the vegetables when a sudden gust of wind blew me into the water, I quickly burst back out of the river and onto the rock clinging to it,"water...too...CCCOLLDDDD" I said as I held on to the rock, I glared at Acelia as she tried to hide behind a tree, I used my powers and shot water out of the river at her, I laughed as she stood there drenched then she suddenly started to run toward me, she jumped straight into the water splashing me, I dropped myself back into the cold water.

 I opened my eyes while I was under then kept myself at the bottom of the river bed , the river wasn't very deep only about three to four feet depending on where in it you were, I looked around for Acelia she had already surface and seemed to be looking for me, I quickly crawled along the river bed until I was behind her then burst out of the water grabbing her from behind, she let out a yelp, "don't do that" she said while I was still holding her," it was payback for splashing me" I replied as I was still holding her, "umm you can let go now and whats pressing against my back" , I quickly let go and told her it was nothing just a stone on a necklace then left the river because of what the line she said sounded like even though it was my necklace, I quickly dried myself off but then realized I forgot the vegetables  at the river.

 I turned around to go get them but I saw Acelia coming with them so I just just went back up into the tree shack, I sat in the corner furthest form the door and thought why am I running, I sat there for a few minutes when I heard Acelia coming in the tree shack, I looked up at her as she walked toward me, her hair was still wet but not too much and she looked very clean."WOW your hair is curly and i would never have thought it was this black and shiny", "yes my hair is black and shiny Acelia", she sat down next to me and placed her hand on my head then began to pet me, I squinted my eyes and kept looking at her as she did it,"why are you petting me","I dont know i just felt like it plus your hair is so soft" she replied with a smile on her face, I grabbed her hand off my head and placed it in her lap.

 We sat together for a few minutes in silence, I looked at Acelia as she sat next to me stearing out the window, her hair had dried out and the curls in her hair began to show more and her hair was just as shiny and black as mine, I placed my hand on her head and began to pet her, her hair was just as soft but felt more silky,"now why are you petting me kairo" I looked at her face and she was giveing me the same squinted eyes with a smile, I though it was very cute then I answered " it's because i think you are a very cut girl", she blushed a bit and turned her face away from me.
