Those few weeks they were off at battle I felt alone. I had of the highest hopes they would return. So, I never considered me and my brother as alone. But now they aren't coming home, ever. Me and my brother, are officially alone.

"Mari?" My brother voice derails my train of thought. "How bout vow and arrow?"

"Yeah. Now sounds good." The silence that comes with the concentration and silence of the mind. This will either be my therapy, or my worst nightmare.

I grab my bow and my arrow. I fish around in my room for my training bow. It might be too small for my brother. He just happens to be six foot three, I'm only five foot four.

My brother's phisical appearance brought many of the neighboring kingdoms princess. He never liked any of them. He always said this was his kingdom and he would never mix. My mother was floored when he would say this. My father would just knod his head and smirk. The same oponion ran through me.
