Chapter Four:
Alexis Thompson's Point of View:
The moment I heard the rage in the Aiden's voice, I elbowed my way past Luke and placed my hand on his shoulder, keeping my body at arm's length in case he couldn't calm down. The heat that was radiating off of his skin was un-bearable, I gritted my teeth and stood in front of him, stepping in front of him, gazing him in the eye, his eyes seemed distant, almost as if he was looking right through me-as if I wasn't there. 'Aiden..' I murmured so that only he could hear me. 'It's alright, just breath' I added in a slight persistent tone.
Aiden's fists were balled and his lips were pursed so tightly together that I was surprised that his teeth didn't bite through his lips. I slowly moved my hands from his shoulder to his cheeks, wincing at the increase in heat, I looked up at him, his eyes finally on me and I noticed how soft they looked compared to the rest of his body...I got him.
'I'm sorry,' He panted, finally releasing his fists. 'I just want you to be okay for once' he bowed his head shamefully, putting his hands on my hips and using his thumbs to trace the pattern on my shirt.
'And I am' I insisted, lowering my head to meet his eyes. 'I'm still the same Alex, just a little different-I'm still yours, Aid'
Aiden lifted his head, his eyes meeting mine again, he smiled at me, genuinely smiled and I grinned back at him. 'Why did you give her werewolf blood?' Aiden asked his grandfather but addressed it to me as he combed his fingers through my hair, I closed my eyes contentedly, waiting for the answer.
'It was either that or she go to a hospital, I knew that they would question what happened to her, so I gave her werewolf blood to ease her pain and fasten the healing process' Elliott explained, I heard small creaking sound. 'If I had known that this would have happened, she'd still be lying on that sofa, in recovery'
Aiden's hand on my hip tensed, I put my hand on his and looked him convincingly in the eye, he looked back at me, smiling as his hand relaxed. 'How long will this last?' he asked, I noticed that his right eye was twitching a little, he was trying to control his anger. There was a moment of silence, before Aiden scoffed and dropped his hands from my waist. 'What do you mean you don't know?' his booming voice slightly shook the room.
'Aiden...' I said, stepping toward him but he only stepped backwards and raised his palms at me.
'I did the same with your mother when she was ill and she came out absolutely fine, something must've triggered the blood before it had a chance to wear-off, something or someone must've angered her' Elliott informed, his eyes casting from Aiden, to, Paco, to Sike then settled on Luke, everyone's accusing gazes soon followed.
'I have no idea why you're looking at me...so, stop looking at me' Luke huffed, scratching the back of his neck and clearing his throat.
'Luke, what did you do?' Aiden sighed, running his hand through his low cut hair.
I narrowed my eyes at Luke, remembering what triggered me. 'You hid my prom dress, then you showed it to me and I got mad...then transformed' I said, tapping my bottom lip as I remembered.
'So you can explain that but you can't explain the reason why you lied and told Aiden you were a lesbian?' Luke snapped, scoffing a little. 'I still can't believe you did that, unbelievable...' and with that he left the room, muttering something about him being under so much pressure that he was getting hungry.
