After Kenzie left and Drew explained everything to me, I was about to head home. I hung up my apron and was headed to the door when i heard my name. I turn and see Lindsay after me.
"Hey, i was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place tonight?" she asked.
"Sure." i say.
"Like grab some drinks, have a girls night."
"I said yes." i laughed. I smiled and i could see drew behind her starring at me. I glance at him and then look back Lindsay. She was laughing as well.
"Ok, see ya tonight?"
"Sure. Where do you want to meet?"
"Meet me here at say 7?"
"Ok. Sounds good". I say. She left and when i went to turn around i saw him still watching me. I watch him, half bent on an empty table with a cloth in his hand. When he realized that i saw him he suddenly looked at the table. I smiled and for a moment hoping he would watch me go out the door.

As i get ready for tonight all i can keep thinking was about Drew. Maybe he likes me. One voice would tell me. No he don't. He thinks your ugly, you idiot. Another voice said. My stomach kept doing summer salts every time i thought about him liking me. I went to the store and bought my a new shirt and shoes. I put on the black blouse. It hangs down but not to far down. I put on my good jeans that fit me just right. I put on my necklace that my mother gave me when i was 7. I slip on the new shoes and look in the mirror. For once i actually look good. I smile and walk out the door.

I arrive at the restaurant and Lindsay car is already there. She sees my walking. She gets out. She is wearing a white v neck and jeans with brown boots. She waves but suddenly looks confused. The wind is blowing her hair perfectly.
"Where is your car"? She yells. I walk up to her.
"I don't have a car." i say.
"Oh. Why?"
"Can't afford it and i don't have a license." i say.
"Well I'm cold and let's get going. Im starved." she says.
