The Cold Night
The harsh winds howl
The white snow falls down hard
The sky is dark
The warmth is gone
Gone with the fun
Gone with the joy
The animals, afraid
Sleeping, Hiding, Waiting, Watching
It seems to never end
As the night grows deeper the storm grows harder
The kids all disappear from there play
The trees are falling
No one is out today
People try to grasp the warmth
No one can
Parents yell at their kids to get inside
The blizzard won't stop
Can't stop
It's too far now to stop
It seems to never end
Will it ever stop?
