Hiding

In hiding

Where being invisible is possible

Where light doesn't reach you

And your reflection doesn't exist

You are tucked away

Hiding

But what were you hiding from?

Was it on your mind then?

Was it eating at your inspiration?

Dragging you through the icy rocky caverns

Of fear, and writer's block?

What was there to hide?

Thought I wouldn't find you

Or find out

You were wrong

Wrong more times then you realize

And wrong most of all

In the only time in counted

You did not need to hide

You needed to see

What would you see?

You saw me, influenced

By you and that frightened you

to your core, a connection

you felt wrong, but maybe

you could have been led to what was right

I can't worry about it

You'll figure it out

You'll come out from your safe place

You hide that way, I'll hide this way

Seek me out when you are ready
