Mackenzy and I just got home from the mall and it was only 5:30 but they were already mad. I told her to stand behind me and stay quiet using our mind-link. She nodded and we walked in.
"Where the hell did you two brats go?!" Palo yelled at us.
"We went to the mall to get new clothes sir," I answered.
"Who said you could get new clothes!?" He screamed.
"Honey calm down the others will hear you!" Andre told him.
"You're right I'll be quieter," He said. "Now you thought of this idea?!" He asked.
"I did sir," I told him.
"Then you get punished!" He yelled. He grabbed me and started punching me. He then threw me to the ground and started kicking my ribs. He kept kicking me till he heard a crack, then he picked me up and threw me at a wall. "Go to your room! Both of you!" He screamed. We rushed off and started to make a plan.
"School starts tomorrow and we need a plan." I told MacKenzy.
"I agree." She said back.
"Since this is a new house and school, I say we go to school keep our heads down and don't tell anyone. Then we will get to know the rules and start our normal pattern just like the last house we were at." I told her.
"I agree." She said.
"Girls get down here this instant!" Palo shrieked.
"Yes sir," We said. We came down and made dinner then we went back to our room to wait. When they were done we ate the leftovers and cleaned up.
"Go to sleep sis." I told her. "New school tomorrow and a new day to be hit." I said as we drifted off. The alarm woke us up the next mourning and I quickly turned it off. "You take a shower first while I start breakfast." I told her.
"Ok." She said back. When she was done I gave her the food and quickly got ready. I helped finished their breakfast and then waited for them.
"Who made the food," Palo said.
"Me," I said. He punched me and slapped me. He then hit my head against the wall, laughed, and went to eat. I felt blood coming from it and a bruise forming.
"You're dismissed," Palo said. We ran off and sis helped me with my head. I threw my hood over my head and we headed off to school. But not after grabbing two apples for me and my sister.
"We're finally free from them even if it's for a short period of time," I said, holding my backpack close to me.
"I know," She replied smiling. "But sis you don't have to take the blame," She said.
"I do, you and I both know I can handle it but you can't," I said walking up the stairs to school.
"Your right," She said.
"Good now no more talk of this,"I said walking into school.
