Chapter 2

Aiden is so stupid. I swear. Why can't he just let me go to a stupid party anyway? It's not like I'm gonna die by dancing too hard, I might break an ankle by how clumsy I am but that's not TOO bad.

"Leslie, I know what you're doing. And no. There is no possible way that Denver will let you out of his sight after I drop you off with him, ok? So stop making a plan."

I rolled my eyes, stupid twin powers. I guess I will just have to wait for another opportunity to come up for another party.

Actually, I think I have a plan,"Hey Aiden?"

"Yeah"

"Can we go to the store after lunch?"

"Sure, why?"

"I just need to get some stuff for me to do tonight with Denver. I have a really good plan."

"Ok....?"

"Trust me, it's gonna be the best night ever!!"

Aiden opens the front door of his mansion,"Denver, honey, I'm home!" He says in a falsetto voice.

I laugh at my stupid brother when I hear footsteps coming down the staircase. I look up and see the most beautiful creature of all mankind. His hair, his eyes, his skin, his smile, his... EVERYTHING!! He looks like god walking down those stairs.

"Dude, don't ever do that again." He says in a deep voice of amazingness. Was that an accent? I love accents... Ok Leslie, chill, you haven't even met him yet and you are acting like such a creep! Stop it!

Aiden nudges me,"Leslie!" He whisper shouts while shaking his head towards the guy, Denver. Wait huh? We're they talking to me?

"What?" I ask confused.

Denver laughs and says,"Hey Leslie, the names Denver. But you can call me Denver. I was just talking to you for 5 mins but you were zoned out. I asked you how old you were..."

Oh, shit uh...."Well Denver I'm actually 18. I'm turning 19 in a month."

"Cool. So that means your in college?"

"Well, I'm actually going to college this year. I got held back a long time ago so I'm older than everyone in my grade."

"Oh cool. Are you excited for starting college?"

Uh. Ew no. Why would I be excited to go to school? "Oh yeah! I'm just excited to be out of high school." Lies, all lies.

"Yeah, I bet. I was homeschooled during high school so I wouldn't know. But I have been in a show about high school."

"Cool. But the shows are nothing like real life."

Aiden obviously gets aggravated about being left out of the conversation so he speaks up,"Hello! Most important person standing right here! I'm here also! Y'all are having the most boring conversation ever, talk about anything else. ANYTHING!!"

Denver and I crack up. Really though, where does he get this stuff?

After a while Aiden leaves us to talk about our 'boring' lives. He left to go to his PARTY. But I am ok with it now, I get to stay with Denver. Denver is pretty cool. He has two older sisters and one younger sister that he is very protective of. He also lived in Florida when he was younger but him and his family moved to Australia when he was 5, explaining his accent.

He looks at me and says,"So, what do you wanna do? We have the whole night to do something."

I smiled evilly,"I got the perfect plan. And I have all the stuff for what we are gonna do."

He looked at me unsurely. Boy, he does not have a clue of what he is getting himself into. Maybe it is best that I don't tell him.

After all, what we are gonna do might get him beaten up.
