Lily pov

        I got up and walked to the trash can. Before I threw my stuff away I ran into someone and they spilled their coffee on me. "Owww! That's hot!" I exclaimed hissing at the burns. "Oh my bad!" I looked to see Gabe infront of me not looking sorry at all. "Yea it is your bad. Fuck off." I snapped at him making him and his friends smirk. "Nice bruise! Want another?" I looked to see Liam behind me and I groaned "why do you always protect me? I'm not a baby!" I exclaimed and he just smirked "well I figure you helped me out, so now I want to return the favor yea?" He walked forward and glared at the boys making Gabe and his friends grumble a bit and walk away. "Thanks anyways" I smiled a bit, but it turned into a frown as I looked down at my clothes. My top was stained. "Idiots, cmon I have an extra top in my car."
        He huffed and grabbed my hand leading me out of the lunch room and everyone stared at us. Harry looked at me in disappointment as well as Elise. Louis just smiled at me as well as Niall. Walking out Liam turned around and glared at everyone "don't you have something better to do?" He snapped making everyone turn away and talk again.
       We continued walking to the car and he grabbed a grey shirt that was two times too big for me. I took it anyways. "Nah it's too big for you eh? Cmon hop in." He said and opened the car door looking at me "what? No! We have class!" I said as if he was dumb. "Cmon you're not going to class like that. I'm going to get you a shirt. Let's go!" He huffed and pushed me in making me Yelp as I sat down. "Nice car" I commented as he started the engine. "Thanks, it was a gift after I came out of jail." He said the last part quietly. "How old were you?" I asked and he looked over at me before looking back at the road. "14 years old. I'm 17 now." He said and I just nodded "how old are you?" He asked  "just turned 17" I answered. We exchanged some questions about eachother and we were going a way I've never seen before "where are we goin?" I asked "the mall why?" He asked and I just shrugged "oh no reason. It's not like we are totally skipping school or anything!" I exclaimed. Making him smirk "ah so this is your first time skipping?" He asked and I nodded "wish it wasn't! There shouldn't be a first!" I almost yelled and he laughed making me shut up and listen to his beautiful laugh. "Well lil being with me will have many more than just one skip!" He laughed a bit and I laughed too. Hearing that I will be with him made my stomach churn. "Why are you so mean to everyone?" I asked and he just stayed silent for a moment "well it keeps the reputation I have I guess. I haven't interacted with people for some time ya know? And it's just hard...but whatever it's just who I am." I smiled at the fact how he opened up to me. "Well you're not mean to me or Niall, so I think that's great" he smiled a bit "yea it is great. For you guys I mean. Elise hates me, Harry and that other guy hates me, that fucking prick gave or whatever his name is hates me. It's not easy living down a title like that." He shrugged clearly hurt. "You're more than what they say, I barely know you and I can tell you're a great guy. They're just assholes." I said back. "Indeed. Well here we are!" He announced getting out.
