Avery looked into her purse. She knew it, she had left her make up bag at home again. She needed a touch up. She was always that type of girl who took her make up everywhere with her. She was the type of girl that had two mirrors in her purse. She was the type of girl who always had the hottest boyfriends, the hottest clothes, and the hottest reputation.
She was a good girl. A teachers pet. Goody two shoes. Everyone loved her charm, and beautiful looks. Her friends were the meanest people in the school, but she was nothing but sweet.
"Sidney, can I borrow your make up please?" Avery asked nicely. Sidney never really liked her, she felt like when she moved there Avery stole the spotlight from her. She was the queen bee.
"Yeah I don't think so. This is specially made for my skin by dermatologists. Sorry," Sidney said with her usual 'smart' tone. Avery knew she'd say that.
"It's fine, I understand," Avery spoke while looking into the mirror smiling.
She walked into the hallway after the first bell rang. She didn't want to be late for class, and hers was on the opposite side of the school.
"Hey babe!" Brad, Avery's boyfriend called to her. Avery tensed up as soon as he put his strong arms around her waist. She was never into being to physical with a guy, especially when they're were thrown together by her so called friends because they were the hottest in their school. She faked a smile.
"Hey brad," she said.
"What do you say we skip class and take a field trip to the janitors closet," he winked and it his hands on her waist. Avery had never had sex with anyone yet, she wanted to wait for marriage.
"You know how important school is to me. I'm not skipping class," she said stepping away from him. Brad was the typical hot guy, athletic, but no brain.
She walked off not waiting for a response. Her strawberry blond curls bounced as she walked. She was a classic beauty. Her naturally perfectly curled hair, she was 5'4, big blue eyes, and pale flawless skin.
As she hurriedly walked down the hall her cell phone started ringing. 'Live while we're young' By One Direction played as she searched through her purse for her phone.
All of the sudden she bumped into something hard enough to push down. The next thing she knew someone else's books and papers flew and scattered across the hall.
"I'm so sorry! Please let me help!"Avery exclaimed. She looked up to see a girl with long brown hair. She had brown eyes, and wore mostly black clothing, with converse shoes.
"Like you care. Go make out with your boyfriend or whatever you do, I don't want to be late for class" the girl was obviously upset. Avery just stared at her.
"Sorry,I thought you'd at least understand that," she girl said rolling her eyes.
"Who ARE you?" Avery asked in disbelief. The girl looked annoyed.
"Wouldn't you like to know?"she said getting up and walking away. Avery looked down.
"What?!" She asked herself. She was shocked that the girl had said any of that to her. She thought she was being nice. Avery snapped out of it when her teacher walked past her.
"Avery, why are you not in class?" Her teacher, Mrs. Sadie asked. She had never been late or skipped.
"I was having lady problems ma'am. I was...held up," Avery lied. It's not that she was a good liar, she was just a good actress. She didn't want to be in trouble.
"Oh well that's excusable, lets go before we get into trouble," the woman said while walking away. Avery followed behind. She felt guilty for lying like she did but he didn't want to be in trouble.
