Avery woke up in the RV. She didn't know what happened. She looked around her. She saw what would look like a typical family vacation. She saw a boy, maybe ten years old, a teenage girl with earbuds in and an annoyed look on her face, she saw a blond women about mid thirties, and lastly she saw the man that had kidnapped her, driving the vehicle.

She closed her eyes again and pretended she was asleep. She noticed that she was in the middle of the floor and everybody else was preoccupied. Another thing she noticed, Peyton wasn't there.

Where was Peyton? Did she get away? Is she getting help? Does she even care? Is she alive? Many questions ran through Avery's mind. She could hear her heat beat in her throat, and she was so afraid to move. She had to restrain herself from crying.

All of the sudden the RV hit a huge bump interrupting Avery's thoughts. Avery's body moved a little bit and made her bump her head on something.

"OW" Avery yelped in pain. She sat up rubbing the top of her head. Everyone in the RV stared at her. Avery bit her lip. She sat frozen unsure what to do while the family stared at her.

"Well sweetie are you okay?" The women stood up and made her way over to Avery. She sounded nice, like the kind of person who wouldn't kidnap someone.

"Are you okay?"

"Umm I uh" Avery didn't know what to say.

"Well can't you talk sweetie? We picked you up at a high school," the lady giggled at her own joke. The sentence sent shivers down Avery's back. Why did this have to happen to her?

"Wh-what day is it?" Avery asked timidly.

"Well it's the 17th silly!" the women said in her mild southern accent. It's day only been a day since they kidnapped her. She was scared and didn't know what to say.

"Well you can come sit down sweetie. Only if you want." Avery felt gross, like she needed a shower. She needed to wash the make up off her face and she needed to get out.

Avery sat on the couch of the RV. She looked all around her.

"Um did..was..the other girl..?" Avery tried to ask but was too afraid.

"Oh you mean the little brunette? Yeah she's in the bathroom, heavy sleeper" she says. Avery wanted to cry but was so afraid.

"Oh and by the way my name Teresa, and this," she gestures to the teenage girl "is Anna." The girl looked up from her phone and waved slightly.

"This," she points to the little boy, "is Thomas, but we call him Tommy," the little boy screams something that resembles a "hello" and runs to his bed in the back.

"And my husband will introduce himself later when he's ready," she smiles like Avery was a new neighbor or something. Avery didn't know what to do or say so he sat there with her head down.

"What's your name sweetie?" the Lady looked at her with wondrous eyes. Avery wondered what exactly was going though her head. "A-Avery," she answered quietly. Teresa laughed at her.

"Well actually you're name is Marie, we've decided to rename you!" Teresa says excitedly. Avery felt empty and unsure what to do or how to do anything. She sat there frozen and nodded her head a bit. She thought that she should just go with it until she finds a way to escape.

Just then the bathroom door opened. Peyton came out and she looked like she was in pain. She looked around at everyone and at Avery. She was scared.

"Hello! Okay we're going to do this quicker because we're almost home. That's Anna, that's Timmy, I'm Teresa, and you know Marie," she pointed to all of them at once. Questions were running though Peyton's mind. "Marie?" She tried to sound brave. Avery looked at at her with a warning face and nodded. Peyton was confused. "We changed her name," she laughed.

"What's your name honey?" Teresa asked. "I'm Peyton," she said with caution. "What a lovely name! I'm wondering if we should change that to the name we agreed on or keep it because I love it so much!" Teresa said with joy. Peyton looked at her with narrow confused eyes. After they decided to keep her name they pulled up to a nice two story house out in the suburbs with some kid playground equipment in the yard and a large dog on a chain.

It was nice, it didn't look like a kidnappers house at all. But it was. And they were there.
