NOT A POEM OR ANYTHING CLOSE TO THAT.

I'm simply annoyed. I'm annoyed at how much impact someone's looks can have in a story. I'm sick and tired of reading stories that put the spotlight on a girl's weight, especially when she's overweight/chubby, and making it OKAY for the "charming bad boy" to call her fat. Like, no. Please stop. Stop writing stories with "fat" in the title. A person's weight doesn't define them. Someone being fat or skinny DOESN'T CHANGE how they will go on in life, if they will be in love or not. If they'll be loved or not.

Body positivity is about embracing yourself and loving yourself, along with all the stretchmarks and big butts and everything that joins that. It's about living your life without overthinking about your weight, or having to worry about your image.

There ARE books where weight is a valuable aspect, like "Skinny" (published) or "The Curves Ahead" (wattpad.) AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. But, the idea that "the bad boy falling for an overweight girl" is so unlikely is absolute shit.

I want to read a book about a woman who's weight doesn't change her aspect in life, where I randomly find out "oh so she's a chubby girl? Cool." AND THAT ISN'T WHAT DEFINES THE CHARACTER.
