*Akala's P.O.V.*

I woke up to the sound of birds and the warmth of the sun on my face. I stretched my arms above my head and got out of bed. I walked to the washroom and splashed water on my face to help wake me.
After I cleaned myself, I spread out my clothes that I will wear for the council then changed into my ranger clothes. I left my room and walked to the dining hall. When I arrived the dwarves stood up out of respect and sat down when I did. I talked with my friends as we ate.
After I ate my food, I excused myself, bowing my head a little to Aragorn as I left.
When I got to my room, I changed into a dress that had a skirt and long sleeves made out of a black flowy like fabric and the bodice was a v-neck made out of mithril plating with dwarviah design. Around my neck was a piece of The Arkenstone on a silver chain. On my feet were black flat shoes. On my head was the Queen's crown of Erebor with my hair braided in a simple dwarvish design.
As I was looking at my reflection, I heard a light knock on the door.

"Come in," I said calmly, looking in the mirror.

The door opened and Aragorn walked in dressed in finer clothing than before. I turned around a little surprised.

"Lord Aragorn. I wasn't expecting you," I said, bowing respectively.

"So this is the Queen of Erebor. I think it suits you," he said.

"Thank you. You look nice as well. Shall we go?" I ask as I walked over to him and the door.

He nodded and held out his arm to me. I smiled a little and accepted it. We walked in silence.

When we arrived at the place where the meeting was held, I could feel all the males were looking at me as I let go of Aragorn's arm and sat down on the chair second from the end on the right. Aragorn sat on my left and an older man was on my right. A red haired man, who was sitting a few seats to the right of me, was looking at me with disapproval in his eyes.

I leaned over to Aragorn and whispered in his ear. "The Gondorian isn't very pleased with my presence here, is he?"

I saw Aragorn glance over my shoulder then looked back at me. "No. The people of Gondor, I believe, think that women should stay at home while meetings such as this should be left to the men," he whispered back to me.

Before I could reply, Lord Elrond stood from his chair and everyone stopped their conversations.
