For being my third follower. How sad. :c But I appreciate it anyways. (:

Yaaaaay. New chapter!

Now, before I begin my ranting about how my dog peed on my carpet YET AGAI-. Okay, I’ll start the story now.

Chapter 5 ♡♡♡

“Hmm. Looking kinda slutty there, Scarlett,” I murmured silently to myself, “Maybe you shouldn’t have paired the mini skirt with the bustier.”

I quickly shed the mini skirt for a pair of skinny pale pink jeans. My midriff was showing, but the coverage of the jeans offset the small size of the bustier. I speed walked over to my dresser, hurriedly applying my makeup. When finished, I noticed my bare neck and arms, and decided to put on a gold watch and a small opal pendant necklace.

I checked the time on my watch and let out a breath of relief. It was 9:20, so I still had a bit of time to do my hair. My hair still had a slight wave to it, so I decided to work with it and add only a small amount of hair mousse. I was done.

Gathering all my things, I made my way out of my room into the main living area, only to hear a soft knock at the door halfway there. Glancing through the peephole, I was reassured that it was safe, and opened the door to a smiling Winston.

“Hey, Scarlett. You ready to go?”

“Yeah, but give me a sec to grab my shoes.”

I ambled over to the hallway closet and grabbed my white Mary Jane heels. They were only 3 inches with platforms, so they wouldn’t be too bad at the end of the night. I slipped them on and made my way back over to Winston.

“You look, just, wow.”

“Thanks, Winston. You sure have a way with words.” I joked.

He blushed slightly, laughing it off before leading us out of the apartment to his car.

“So how long a drive is this gonna be?”

“Not too long. He lives only about 10 minutes from here.”

After a few minutes, we reached a beautiful 3 story Victorian house.  It had a very vintage feel to it with its wide arches and cone shaped ceilings.

I whistled under my breath, “This place is gorgeous.”

“Yeah,” Winston started, “The guy who owns it, Tony, has parents in real estate. They’re loaded.”

“I can tell.”

We made our way into the crowded party, squeezing between bodies that smelled of sweat and hard liquor. I scrunched up my nose, and started to breathe through my mouth.

Bleh. But now it tastes like I’m eating their sweat.

That’s nasty.

Maybe I should just stop breathing.

We soon reached Winston’s group of friends, stopping in front of them. Everyone was there except for Vincent.

“Scarlett!” The group chorused once we were within eyeshot.

“What, no greeting for me?” Winston joked.

He was met with blank stares.

“Some friends you are.” He grumbled under his breath.

Winston turned towards me. “You can drink tonight, if you want. I’m the designated driver this week.” He paused. “Just don’t drink too much. You’ll regret it.”
