A Secret...
I have a secret that I must keep,
A secret that would make you weep.
I played a game and broke a rule,
I nearly went and lost it all.
Two foolish players full of dreams,
Forgot they played for other teams.
Spreading my wings was loads of fun,
Think I almost flew around the sun.
One by one barriers turned to dust,
Was a stupid fool to place such trust.
It's only now that I accept I've lost,
I can begin to count the final cost.
I really wish I'd never played this game.
Though know I would do the same again.
I have a secret I would love to share,
The trouble is... life's so fucking unfair.
