“Sylvester” my father called me in his deep and robust voice “have you told the Franklins if they could feed the dogs while we’re gone.”

“Pourquoi des cours” I said sarcastically in my normal voice while I was headed out the door.

As I headed out the door the sky was blue and without a cloud in the sky. Normally today I would head out with my mountain bike and go enjoy and take pictures of nature. Instead I headed to my next door neighbors’ house to ask them if they could take care of my two Siberian Huskies while I was gone. I reached the front of their white and red door way and rang the doorbell.

“Hello Ms. Franklin” I said as she answered the door “as you know we are going to California this summer and I was wondering if you could”

“We would be delighted to take care of Simba and Nala for you” she said in a polite and hurried way.

I thanked her and head back home where I found my dad packing up our luggage into the car. I help him with the rest and he checked the house one more time, started up the car and we were off to the airport.
