Kathryn's POV
Eric drove me back to my house. I said goodbye then walked to the front door. I opened the door and walked in. "Where have you been?!" David asked. "You said it yourself i have a mate and my mate won't like your question." I said that and walked up to my room. He really hurt when he said that yesterday. We can't talk to each other without fighting. "People who truly love each other always fight" my mom said walking into my room. "But it's not nice every time we talk we fight and in fact we're not in love i chose eric." I said to her. " kath i'm your mother you can't it from me you love david but i'm not saying you don't love eric. So tell me what's wrong" she said on the bed next to me. "I chose eric because he asked me it was so nice there were flowers all over the room's floor and he stood there and asked me to be his mate." I said to her. She thought for a while then said "you know that i used to tell david that when he wants to ask his mate to be his to do this way. That's weird. But baby your father and i are always by your side no matter whom you chose we are here." She hugged me then left. Everything got more complicated.

David's POV
I was sitting in my room thinking about kath and what happened today with us. We can't sit together for a long time without getting into a fight. I can't stand sitting here and not doing anything to calm her down.

I went into the kitchen and looked for jelly beans. I took them and went upstairs. I knocked on the door "go away" was her reply. "I won't i will stay all night here. Kath i'm sry please let me come in. I got you jelly beans." I said to her. She opened the door " i only opened the door the jelly beans of course not to see your ugly face." She said and snatched the jelly beans bag from my hand. I went and sat on her bed. "Listen kath i'm sry i won't get you upset if you want eric then i hope you to are happy together but i don't want to lose you. So " i said the then got on one knee and continued "will you do the honor and be my best friend again?!" She started to laugh then nodded and hugged me.

I couldn't sleep she was all i could think about. Everything i didn't i couldn't get myself to sleep. So i decided to go sleep in her room . Having your mate in the same room helps a lot. I opened the door and went inside i put my pillow on the floor and covered myself with a blanket and finally i could sleep knowing she's here next to me.
