A lot of times I find myself slipping away. Away from the world and into my fantastical thoughts. I think of my wishes and desires. To become an author. A doctor. An everlasting memory. It sounds nice. Until my fantastical thoughts meet reality. Our world is filled with many people. I am just one in thousands. Millions. Billions even. I may become a doctor. But will I be the best? I may become an author. But can I reach a Shakespearean level? This world has plenty of authors, poets, song writers, screen writers. Need I go on?
Many people realize this and cower. You are one in billions. But you are one of a kind. You must go on. I must go on. We shall live our dreams. If the odds are against you, don't back down. Keep striving. Come out on top.
And when you are away from your thoughts, and cold, hard reality sets in, don't let go of your passion. For fantasy, has a way of becoming reality.
