Cole's POV:

After breakfast, we got in my car to go to Justin and Josh's house.

"Are you sure you don't remember how you got that bite?" I ask Phoebe

"I'm sure." she replies,

I sigh and we drive in silence the rest of the way.

We pulled into their driveway and got out of the car. I knocked on the door and immediately the door swung open and I see Justin in the doorway.

"HEYYYYY" Justin shouts and moves to the side to let us in. He seems to notice the bandage on Phoebe's neck but doesn't say anything. We are led into the living room and we all sit down.

"Where's Josh?" Phoebe asks

"He should be down any minute now." Justin replies

"Okay, well I'm going to the bathroom." Phoebe says as she stands and goes to the bathroom. As soon as we hear the door shut, Justin turns to look at me.

"Why does she have a bandage on her neck?" he asks.

"She's been attacked." I reply.

"WHAT?! BY WHO?!" he yells.

"I don't know! And lower your voice!" I whisper-yell

"What's going on here?" I hear Josh say and I turn to see him at the bottom of the stairs.

"Phoebe has been attacked." Justine answers as soon as he says that we hear the bathroom door open. We automatically shut up.

"Hey, Cole?  Can I borrow your car?" Phoebe asks as she walks back to the living room looking at her phone.

"Why?" I ask

"To go to Scarlet's house." she says looking up from her phone.

Here is the thing, Justin, Josh, Scarlet, and some other people I know are like what attacked Phoebe, but we are all trying to protect her. I nod and throw her my keys. She catches them , and leaves.

Josh sits down on the same couch as me and looks at me.

"What's this I hear about Phoebe being attacked?!" he yells.

"Why are you yelling?!" I yell back at him

"Because it's your job to protect her while you all are at your house!" he shouts back.

"Well, I was asleep and I thought she was asleep too!" I say more calmly.

"So if she was asleep, how could she get attacked?" Justin chimes in.

I shake my head "I don't know, she said she woke up in the middle of the woods last night, and found her way back." I shrug

"Does she know how she got there?" Justine continues to ask questions.

"Guess not..." I say

Phoebe's POV:

I pull into Scarlet's driveway, park, and walk up to her door. Instead of knocking I texted her.

*To: Scarlet!

Hey! I'm here!*

*From: Scarlet!

K! Coming! :)*

Soon after Scarlet opens the door.

"Hey!" She smiles, and pulls me to her room. "I've got something to show you!"

We enter her room and she walks over to her desk and rummages through it and grabs her Bluetooth speaker. She sets it on her desk and turns it on, connecting it to her phone. She taps on a playlist and 'I Write Sins, Not Tragedies' by Panic at the Disco, one of Scarlet and my favorite bands.

"I made a playlist with all of our favorite songs from bands, and other singers!" then she sorta zoned out, I couldn't tell what she was staring at.

She sat on her bed while singing along she texted someone and I joined into the singing.

Cole's POV:

*BING*

I pick up my phone and see I have a text from Scarlet.

*From: Scarlet

Did something happen to Phoebe? Why does she have a bandage on her neck?!*

I sigh and reply

*To: Scarlet

yea.....she got attacked.*

*From: Scarlet

WHAT?! Does she know by what?!*

*To: Scarlet

No, and let's keep it that way.*

I put my phone down and Justin is now sitting in front of the tv playing video games.

"So, are you gonna tell Phoebe about our secret?" Justin asks

"I don't think so, unless its absolutely necessary." I reply

*BING*

I pick my phone up and this time I have a text from Phoebe.

*From: Phoebe

I'm Staying the night at Scarlet's*

*To: Phoebe

okay, have fun, be careful*

*From Phoebe

Will do!*

I put my phone in my pocket, say my goodbye's, and head home.
