Cole's POV:
As soon as Phoebe closes the door, I begin to freak out. Someone needs to watch over her at the park, but who? Then it hits me. Adam! I quickly text him to meet Phoebe and go back to what I was doing.
Phoebe's POV:
While walking to the park I notice Adam sitting on his porch steps. I smile as he waves when he sees me and walks up to me.
"Where ya going?" He asks as he walks beside me.
"Just to the park." I inform him.
"Hm, can I come?" He asks and I smile.
"Sure!" I say and we walk to the park.

We get to the park, we walk around the park for a while, hanging out, talking, laughing, and being weird. It's nice. All we do is talk and play around with each other. I admit I miss hanging out with him. I have known him most my life. Probably the only one of my friends that I've known for that long. We hadn't been able to spend time together for a while and I missed it. My nerves for tomorrow were gone because of Adam being my distraction. A few hours pass and we decide to head home for lunch. As we walk back to edge of the park I get an idea.
"Race ya!" I exclaim and take off running. I know he is faster then me so he should've either passed me or caught up. So I turn around to check what happened. All I see is the girl who was following me inject something into Adam. Then all of a sudden there is impact to my head and everything goes black.
