"Lillian, Open Up!" I yelled frantically as I knocked on my best friend's door. I don't care if it-'s 10 o'clock in the morning. My best friend knows when there is something on my mind I need to release it ASAP.
Soon enough my best friend swings her door open in some pajama pants. Guess I must have woke her up. Well I'll apologize later but as of right now I need help.
"Lillian, what are you doing sleep at a time like this?" I ask. She looks at me like I'm crazy and almost slams the door in my face. I stop the door with my foot and barge my way into her house.
"Nigga do you know what time it is?" Lillian asks me. Like I can't tell time or something! She walks away from me and starts heading in the direction of here room.
"Yes Bitch I know what time it is. That's why I'm here. Why are you still in your pajamas? Hello its Saturday!" She turns and looks at me with them same eyes that she always does when she's confused. Sometimes I wonder about my bestie.
"Exactly my point! Saturday, that means that there is NO school and I get to sleep until one. Yet you're over here at 10. You are conflicting with my schedule hoe." She said hitting the top of the stair and heading down the hallway in the direction of her room. I hear the shower running so I'm assuming someone else is here.
"Shut up! I came over here to tell u that the Wale tickets go on sale today an..." She cut me off.
"WHAT BITCH! WHY THE FUCK ARE WE SITTING HERE?" She jumped up and went to her closet. I knew she would act this way. She loves Wale, I was wondering why she was looking like that when I got here.
Now that I think of it. Her room is looking mighty tidy for someone who just woke up. And from the way her face hair and clothes were looking you would think she slept wild. But, here bed was made up, just like it is every morning. And I know her mother left for her flight like not even an hour ago. Something wasn't right, but maybe I'm tripping. I was snapped out of my thoughts when she came out of her closet with a rather revealing outfit. I guess she was feeling it today.
"Who are you trying to impress?" I ask? "Wale is not going to be at the ticket booth girly!" She looks up at me and shrugs her shoulders.
"Dang, so I can't just wanna dress up from time to time?" I just shrugged it off and sat on the chair at her desk while she hurriedly left and went to go get dressed. Once she closed the door I got up and went to inspect. Something wasn't right and I just knew it. I looked around her room and hoped to find a blanket, nothing. I knew that I was going to get some answers but not in here. I walked out her room and down the hall. I knew that she came down the stairs I heard her. As I walked down the hall toward William's room a strong heat filled the air. But on the contrary it smelled like Febreze Flesh Linen Spray. I turned around to be knocked down by the infamous William who was in a towel coming from the bathroom.
"What u doing down this way Si-Nosey?" William said helping me up off the floor but at the same time holding his towel close and dear to his body. I can't even lie he was one sexy son of a gun. But I have a man.
"Shut up Willy." I said buying time to think of a lie. "I was looking for your mom. He room is in the direction too u asshole. I'm not nosey."
"Yeah, whatever. He said walking into his room. I quickly looked in there to see it looking a mess. Bed looked rough and stuff was all over the floor. Boys, I thought to myself. I walked back to Lillian's room and waited patiently. When Pretty Girl Rock blasted through the speakers of my phone, I pulled my phone out of my bag and looked at the screen and it was Victor, my boyfriend. We haven't been together for long, maybe a month. He seems like he's going to be a cool boyfriend. I just think that something is missing from our relationship. Lillian seems to think that he's cool but I mean I don't know.
