We left around 4 that night after eating chicken and rice. It was a two hour drive but I didn't mind it. The car was packed full with our stuff and we had music playing at top volume so we could sing along as loud as we could. Singing, laughing, smiling. At one point we even turned the music and started talking about other stuff. That was great till it turned to guys.
"So.... how's Peter doing?" she asked. I knew she noticed he had stopped coming over and I stopped going to hang out with him. But I hopped she wouldn't have said anything.
"I don't know, He has a girlfriend now, but we haven't talking sense that one night with him and Dad." I turned and stared out the window as the image of Peter kissing Emma clouded my vision. Then I flooded with the feeling I got when I kissed Nick. So warm and gentle I felt the heat rise into my cheeks as they turned red.
"What are you thinking about over there? Is there something you haven't told me about? Maybe a boy?" I looked at her and smiled. I couldn't ever lie to my mom. Especially not about something like this.
"Maybe," there was a boy, one with ice blue eyes and white blonde hair. "You don't know him."
"Is it Peter?!"
"What!! No!! His name is Nick."
"Nick as in Peters brother Nick? She glared at me before turning her eyes back to the road, "He's no good for you."
"God, you sound like Dad." I rolled my eyes. I thought her of all people would understand.
"He's a bad guy Angela." She was trying to tell me something I already knew.
"He kissed me to get back at Peter. He's just trying to help me." I had no idea why I was standing up for him, or why I was trying to hurt Peter so badly. Everything had gotten so messed up so quickly.
"I'm not going to fight you on this. Just please don't do something solely to hurt Peter. You turned him down, he has the right to move on." Sadly I knew she was right. But, it still hurt realizing that one day he was "in love" with me, and the next he was face sucking with Emma. What if he never really loved me, what if it was all a cover so he could get closer to her? I wanted to scream, cry, something, anything. He drove me insane. Way too many emptions hit me at once, it was too much to handle. "I'm sorry, Angela."
She rested her hand on my leg apologetically. "Its your life, I'll drop it." We drove in silence with Nickleback playing quietly through the speakers.

About an hour later, we arrived at the camp sights set aside for people to tent up and sleep through the day. We pulled into our spot number two-o-three. When I opened my door I grabbed my bag and stepped out not paying attention where I was going.
I ended up walking strait into someone. "Oh, sorry my-" It was Peter. I walked strait into Peter. He looked surprised to see me, maybe even a little angry. As if I walked into him on purpose.
"Ang, what are you doing here?"
"Its Angela!" I shoved past him. He was the last person I wanted to see right now.
"Hey, Baby, you made it." Nick shouted from the tent space next to me and Moms. Great. He walked over and put his arm around me, kissing my cheek. He looked at Peter with a sly smirk across his face. "I thought you bailed on me for a second."
"How dare you underestimate me like that, Babe?" Playing along seemed like my best bet at that moment.
"Angela, can we talk?" Shyly asked Peter. He shifted awkwardly shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Anything you have to say to her you can say to me." protested Nick as my mom got out of the car with the tent.
"I have to help my mom anyway. Sorry." I stepped away from both of them and helped her take the tent out of its bag and laying it out on the ground.
