Bailey's p.o.v.

The blood was thick and cold. It was hard telling Jeff the story of my life with the metallic smell filling up my nose. I watch as Jeff's expressions change from sadness to anger when I told him about what my father would do to me late at night. "I gonna kill that mother fucker if it's the last thing I do." Jeff mumbled to himself. "Don't worry about it," I said. "As soon as you kill me, I won't have to deal with the pain and the torture he puts me through everyday." His bright blue eyes stared straight into my green eyes and I was instantly lost. I couldn't think anymore. I couldn't look away from them and I locked onto them like they were the last thing I would see. "I won't kill you and I will never kill you," Jeff said, his voice getting deeper. "You want to know why? It's because your broken and used. You've been tossed around and I so happened to catch you, and I am never letting go. That's what I like about you. I don't know why that sick fuck you call your father would do something like that to you but I promise, from now on, nothing like that will ever happen again." The world around me stopped as I continued to stare into his eyes. That moment didn't last long though. At that very moment, I lost contact with his eyes and made contact with the blood that soon engulfed my entire body.
