Bailey's P.O.V.

I look at myself in the mirror one last time before I look at his face again. He was right. I didn't want to go back. But I didn't want to stay here either. I pushed past him and grabbed my jacket that was laying across the bed. I wrapped it around myself and headed out the bedroom door and into the hallway. "Wait! You can't leave Bailey! You just can't!" Jeff screamed. I blocked him out and continued walking towards the front door. As soon as I touched the doorknob my head began to hurt. My eyes began to blur and, suddenly, images started flashing in my head like a movie. I couldn't let go of the doorknob, I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. I couldn't do anything. All I could do is watch. The images were clear and bright. Each one showed a different person. The only thing they all had in common was they were menacing. They were terrible looking. Like they were ready to rip someone's head off. Suddenly, I was able to move again and I let go of the doorknob. "I told you you can't leave. You're one of us now. You are our eye in the sky. Without you, we don't know who's good and who's bad in this world." Jeff said. "You have the power to freeze time, see all the evil in this world, and freeze yourself and everyone around you." I was shocked when Jeff told me this. I looked at the doorknob and it was frozen over. My hands were purple and tingly all over. "Certain things you touch can trigger different images/people to flash in your head. That's all the evil in the world...the evil that we must dispose of."
