Book 7: Severus Snape

"Kill." Voldemort hissed obediently his snake bit dawn on Severus Snape's neck

"Severus!" I cried. Even after everything he had put me though I still was sorry that he was dying. Tears stream dawn my face as my first friend suck slowly into death.

"I regret it." Voldemort said coldly.

Then he left. There was no sadness, no remorse. He simply grabbed his snake and left. James (being as hotheaded as he is) swore loudly and attempted to slap Voldemort.

Take. . . it. . . . Take . . . it . . ." Something more then blood was coming out of Severus's mouth, something I recognized to be memories. Hurriedly Harry scooped the memories into a bottle, by the time that had happened Severus had almost no blood remaining in him.

"Look. . . at . . . me . . . ." Severus whispered to Harry. For a moment Harry and Severus's eyes met then he moved no more, and the man who had despised Harry for years was gone.

"Lily." I heard his voice, one I hadn't heard for a very long time.

"Severus Snape."
