Chapter 12

Aditi's POV

    I woke up and sat up. Aditya was getting ready for work and it was all like before. Aditya standing in front of the closet. He was standing in his sweatpants pushing through his shirts trying to choose. A water drop from his hair fell onto his back. I looked away embarrassed as I found myself admiring his back muscles again. What is going on? I looked up and this time found him looking at me. 

"Good morning" He smiled

"Good morning" I smiled back

"Did you sleep well?" He walked over to me as he tossed the clothes he chose on the bed

"I guess" I tried to not stare too hard at his abdominal muscles

"Good. You want something special to eat?" He sat down in front of me and held my hands

"..." I just looked at him

"What's wrong?" He looked worried, "Morning sickness?"

"..." I shook my head as tears started running down my face

"Aditi what's wrong?" He held my shoulders

"I lied Adi...I am not pregnant" 

"What?" He moved away from me

"You lied? You lied to your whole family and me?! I thought we were starting this relationship right Aditi?! How could you do this? You know how much I hate lies"

"Adi" I tried to turn him towards me but he pushed me away

"Don't" He walked away

"ADI!" I sat up

       Breathing hard I looked around. He wasn't in the room. I hugged myself realizing it was only a nightmare...which could become true very easily. I got out of bed and looked for the medical reports. Once I found them I shredded them. I just need this to be a secret for just a little longer. Once Sonia and Rocky are married they will tell everyone themselves. Till then I have to keep calm. I turned around

"Ah!" I jumped

"What's wrong?" Aditya looked at me confused, "Are you okay?" 

"You startled me" I held my hand over my heart

"Sorry" He gave me a weird look

"Uh oh" I covered my mouth and ran to the bathroom

      As soon as I was in the bathroom I locked the door. I really need to research how pregnant women act...or just ask Sonia. Just then I smelled something really foul. I looked around trying to find what it was, but it was starting to get to me. I ended up actually throwing up. This is what I get for lying to Aditya. I sat against the bathtub when the bathroom door opened. Fish I forgot Aditya broke the lock. He walked in with a bottle of water. Sitting down next to me he handed it to me.

"Thank you" I took a drink

"What do you want for breakfast?" He looked at me

"Anything"

"Want to eat out?"

"For breakfast?"

"Why not?"

"Are you sure? What if paparazzi get us?" I made a face

"That is true. I guess I will just have to take Aman with me" He smiled at me

"Well maybe he doesn't want to go either"

"Well too bad" He helped me up, "Now tell him to get ready. I will be waiting"

"Fine. I will give him a call"
