so cold. The prison cell that Adam was put into was dark and cold. But it was a new kind of cold. Different then the cold he had felt on the streets. This was a new cold. The type of cold that froze your heart and every emotion that your human body could configure in this lonely state. so, so cold. Adam had a cell mate. A frail young man who had a look of regret stamped permanently on his face. But, what could he have done that was so very bad? He was only a young thing. But Adam knew. Adam knew that young doesn't mean innocent. The smallest part of him screamed to be back on the dirty streets. To be released from this eternity of nothing. But he knew in the inside that he deserved this. This is what he had to do. Adam stared at his hands. His hands that had once ended the life of a beautiful human. He clenched his hands into fists. A small white line marked the back of his hand. Adam smiled. Funny how something as small as falling of a swing set can stay with you forever. He
thought. Adam thought instantly off Ema. She was a scar on his brain. Something so small yet so powerful that her memory would stay with him forever. Sometimes scars fade. But Ema's memory will never fade.
