"skinny love"

The leaves fell onto the pavement occasionally sliding into the little puddles from the previous showers.

It had been 2 months since tour started and it was a rough 2 months.

She had so many panic attacks she couldn't show her face anywhere there was over 10 people.

From smiling in interviews, laughing at the camera to crying behind closed doors, Laura was a triple threat.

She suffered from high anxiety and very high depression levels. She startsd becoming anorexic.

The thing that was keeping her alive was the fans, they loved her and built up her passion for performing and music.

However there were certain songs where tears were shed, such as her covers of Turn Your Face and I Miss Her, the two songs were very special to her, one dedicated to her sister and the other to him.

She cared about him, correction she cares about him and she couldn't find a reason why.

But he has Courtney and he's happy so why can't she be happy?

Courtney is amazing and the sweetest girl ever, they recently became friends and she didn't want to change that.

Plus he's broken her one too many times in their "relationship" or whatever he wants to call it.

It broke her heart to hear that he didn't care about her. I mean why would you even do that?

He said it to her face to face, which in her opinion was the like getting hit by a bus.

Flashback

1 day before stln

"I need to talk to you," He said over the phone to his girlfriend. He had some bad news for her and was scared how she'd take it.

"Meet me at Orchard Walk at 3," She said flatly obviously not excited for the talk either.

They were walking along the path when Laura decided to speak up, "So what do you wanna talk about?"

"Us,"

"Is everything okay Ross?" She asked her voice trembling slightly.

"No," He said coldly. "I just Laura, it's that, I,"

She already knew what was coming. "Say it, say you wanna end things,"

"I don't love you anymore," He spat abruptly causing the brunette to jumped, who was also very startled.

"And I don't care about you either," He said to her as he walked away from her leaving her heartbroken and relentless.

End of Flashback

Ross stared out the window as the bus began moving again. They had 4 more months until they got off the bus. 4 more months until he saw her.

She had told the press that she was taken and very happy but the look in her eyes showed she was heartbroken and fragile.

He broke her.

Courtney tagged along on tour, he was in love with her but he was contemplating whether or not to get Laura and claim her as his to stop her suffering or keep Courtney and let her remain in pain.

Courtney was great, she was sweet and loved the fans. Her fanbase was small but slowly getting bigger, she didn't have anything special in her career, she acted for 5 seconds in a movie and he'd heard her sing once and he was glad it was only once.

However Laura had talent, she could act, sing and dance, a triple threat as he would call her.

The cast had tried to interact with him but he ignored them and spent time trying to find something with Courtney.

He was a selfish asshole, he knew that well and true, as Laura called him one many many times.

Laura had called him several times during the first month but had given up getting rejected.

His heart ached as he declined her calls but it was for "the best," well he thought.

He just wish that their skinny love would last the year. Instead of telling his ex-girlfriend to wreck it all.

Her brown hair flowed in the wind as she walked onto the high street.

People were busy, it was mid-September and everyone was trying to grab the last of the summer sales.

Early Christmas Shopping? She was dressed simply, her hair in a bun, wearing an oversized sweater and ugg boots, I know casual white girl but it was cold and she hadn't bought any warm clothes since last year.

She had applied for a simple coffee shop job, she no longer wanted to be famous, she wanted to be a normal 19 year old getting her money the proper way.

She didn't want to be labelled as a sterotype she was trying to create a good image. Her name badge was basic and grey likewise to her outfit.

She stepped into the cosy coffee shop, the place was beautiful but empty, she needed to help create attention to the place.

She sat down on a stool hoping someone would notice her. A few minutes passed and no one had come to assist her.

She was wondering where everyone was. "Hiya love, sorry I was serving upstairs," A woman who looked like she was in her 30s said to her, "How may yee help?" The canadian? woman asked. "Hi, I'm Laura, I'm here for the job, I had an interview the othe-"

Suddenly the brunette was interrupted by a tall, lean blonde who was cradling books in one hand and a baby in the other.

"LAURA!" She yelled, nearly dropping the relentless baby, rushing across the wooden floorboards, "I can't even believe that you're here! Wait, hold that," She passed the innocent child in her hands as the enthusiastic employee? placed her books on the table.

"Okay, sit, sit," Laura sat with the silent baby opposite the bundle of bubbliness, her eyes full of excitement. She already felt welcomed, and a little weirded out.

"Kay so this is Almira and she's ma sweetart and-" The door swung open making the little bell chime.

The three turned to the door and Laura's world crashed to the floor.

Come on, skinny love.
